I was reading a book today by Seneca, its called: "on the shortness of life", and i came across an interesting part. Have a look at the image below.
My question to you is: what would you do if you had a tally of your future years set before you?
Its easy to look back at the past and think about all the mistakes we've made, opportunities we've lost, but i'm sure there are some people out there who would give anything to have a conversation with their future self for 5 minutes. A year from now, would the future me tell me work twice as hard? or would that person even exist; let alone have a message waiting for me?
Imagining a conversation like that might be equally as terrifying, i'm sure as much as we want to know about what the future holds, we don't want want it to destroy the present moment.
What are your thoughts on that quote? let me know below!
If you enjoyed reading this, please do leave a like and re-steem! would help me out a lot! & make sure to follow me on steemit!

Hossain
