Hey there steemit I've been wanting to do something different than my usual steemit cartoon daily style, it's good to have a range of styles and it'll be like a toolbelt you can have to keep things interesting whenever!
Anyway I'm gonna show you the simple process of this of how to draw this woman!
Heres my reference photo that i've used but before I start this tutorial I want to show you something, a little formula on how i usual detect and draw faces.

That walkthrough will help you thoroughly understand how to make a face and that same principle applies to here just with a few more steps.
Here you can see the three landmarks that i use which is lined at the eyes, nose, then mouth and to mark whats going to be in shadow or not i put a light outline to get the gist of whats gonna be shaded and whats not!
At first it'll look boring but once all the core points are placed down roughly where they should be, the magic truly happens when you get to shading! When shading its best to place all the shadows at a medium intensity and then whenever something is extra dark you can cover it.
At first I thought I was finished with the sketch or study but then after getting some instant feedback from a friend of mine, I forgot to shade the nose AHHA So i did a quick minute job on the nose and...
It looks much better here! I hope you guys enjoyed this quick process of my sketch, the duration was around 25 mins but don't be discouraged if you can't sketch fast, it takes practice and determination! lots and lots of it and then you'll be able to do whatever that brain of yours is telling you to!
