No matter the clouds, no matter the storm, clear sky is always behind waiting. This is how I look at my thoughts as they pass through my consciousness and affect my moods and therefore, my actions. They will pass and clarity will return.
We are so influenced by the world though that it is easy to get caught up in the currents of the winds and carried far from where we want to be, far from the path that leads us. At this time, many people feel the pressure as the price drops and the interactions on platform slow down. Comments drop away, voting drops away, mood drops away. My advice is that this is the time to work.
I don't mean posting more necessarily, I mean engaging more, reading more, learning more, preparing more. At times like these people trying to optimize their return say 'it is not worth it now' and take a break, which means, those that are here are more likely to be the ones looking long-term.
Looking well and truly past the seven day window, looking past the market dips and tricks of FUD, the future is bright but, that future is diminished by the poor actions of today, at least for many of the people. What you will often find is that those who do the best at things work while the rain pours, not just when the sun shines.
For example, now is the time to evaluate and rethink you content, work out better ways to present it, learn about the apps, read more, see what is happening around the system. What many tend to do is think that the little corner of the world they inhabit at Steemit is all there is. The Steemit world is very large and growing every day if you cared to have a look. There is a lot to learn.
It is also a great time to get to know other people, get into chat or discord, roam around, see what groups are available, see what is on offer and most importantly, see where you are most valuable and you can offer yourself. You'd likely be surprised at how many different projects and initiatives there are and how happy people would be to have an extra hand or two.
Remember that there are always going to be changing conditions and your ability to adapt and do what is useful in each is vital to being able to develop yourself continuously. The small developments when things are slow support the very large when it all speeds up again. Focus on the development of your own processes and do not worry about the variations in return.
Clouds come and go, rain falls, sun shines... it is all necessary for growth
