In the Higher Education Act, vocational education has education levels that include Diploma 1 (KKNI Level 3), Diploma 2 (KKNI Level 4), Diploma 3 (KKNI Level 5), Diploma 4 / Applied Bachelor (KKNI Level 6), Master Applied (KKNI Level 8), and Applied Doctorate (KKNI Level 9). Future Vocational Education UI is projected to open courses from Diploma level 3 to Applied Doctorate. However, currently Vocational UI only open educational programs for Diploma III level.
