The Philippines is a very large archipelagic country and is divided into three major island groups, namely Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. The three are subdivided into 18 regions, 81 provinces, 144 cities, 1,490 municipalities. Just like Indonesia is also an archipelago, the Philippines also has a lot of beautiful natural scenery, especially the beach.
Palawan is a province that forms the archipelago with the capital of Puerto Princessa. Palawan has a lot of beautiful beaches. Palawan also has two UNESCO World Heritage Sites, the Tubbataha Reef National Marine Park and the Puerto Princessa Underground River, where the latter is also one of the "New 7 Wonders of the World".
Palawan also has two other famous towns or islands, namely El Nido and Coron. El Nido was popular only among local tourists, but now El Nido began to be crowded by foreign tourists. With limestone characters like Halong Bay, Krabi, and Guilin, as well as water resorts such as Maldives and Ora Beach, El Nido is also famous as one of the most favorite honeymoon destinations of Filipinos.
