It is no question that the United States healthcare system has been receiving constant pressure on the negative aspects that is provides. These aspects include corruption, price gouging, general pricing, extended waiting list, and several other frustrating aspects of the United States healthcare system. Although the debate between how these issue should be handle is often a heated topic in politics, a majority of people agree that there needs to be change. Keith Smith is one of those people. I will touch on the affects his creative destruction has left on society. The idea of being a creative destroyer is kind of confusing to begin with. When you look at what Keith Smith did, he created a system of health care service that destroyed or tampered with the preexisting ways of American health care. In return, he saw a large amount of support from people all across the world. The only people who did not like his new system, was those who he was destroying. That is what makes this so interesting to me. The idea that such a simple business plan could cause such a big wake in the big market of healthcare. How a small competitor could alter how others view the idea of the United States healthcare system. So how does Kieth Smith's innovative form of healthcare affect society in a positive or negative outlook. As mentioned before, you can see how people could be affected by this now more cost effective business instead of the big and corrupt corporations, whose main goal is generate money off of other peoples unfortunate bad health. I understand that the everything that operates in this world has the same goal, generate money. Although this is true, often times bigs hospitals and health insurance companies falsely price their services. So by Keith Smith creating this new form of healthcare, he provides a positive affect on society. Society now has an option that is a guaranteed price. They know what it will cost for their treatment, and at a lower price this others. They will get to talk to their future surgeons and discuss the right and accurate treatment that is best suited for them. Kieth Smith has created a system that will forever change and affect how society is treated by the American healthcare system. Without his creative and destructive innovation, people around the world would not have the opportunity to be treated at a precise and honest facility.
