This afternoon, Thursday, April 13, 2023, I used a bicycle to go around a playground which is also a people's market. The atmosphere of this place is quite lively with many clothing traders. These merchants lined the streets by building tents where they traded. This is a video that I uploaded in the playground area which is also a people's market.
The atmosphere ahead of Eid al-Fitr is increasingly felt with the many clothes sellers hanging around this road. A tradition that has existed since ancient times, that every holiday, many people shop for clothes. They want to wear new clothes on Eid al-Fitr.
There are various types of clothing sold in this area, ranging from sandals and shoes, various types of shirts and pants of various sizes to head coverings in the form of headscarves or caps. Even though Eid al-Fitr is still about a week to come.
That's the tradition in my area. Looks like Eid al-Fitr must wear new clothes. I don't know exactly whether it is a tradition for friends to wear new clothes on Eid al-Fitr in the area?
Hopefully Eid al-Fitr, which is still about a week to come, will bring sustenance so that after we fast for 1 month during Eid al-Fitr we can wear new clothes.
