The team research from the University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta was interested in the existence of local political parties (parlok) which only existed in Aceh. Two lecturers from Malikussaleh University, M Rizwan H Ali and Hadi Iskandar, explained about parlok from political and legal aspects.
Unimal Political Science lecturer, M Rizwan H Ali, said that the existence of parlok in Aceh attracted researchers from outside, one of them was from the University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY). "Interesting plots are examined from various aspects, especially politics and law," Rizwan said at Bukit Indah Campus, Tuesday (2/26/2019).
The day before, Rizwan and the Faculty of Law lecturer, Hadi Iskandar, received three researchers from UMY, respectively Dian Eka Rahmawati, Nanik Prasetia Ningsih, and Septi Nurwijayanti. The contents of the interview included the history and development of parlok in Aceh, the influence of parlok on the development of democracy, the electoral prospect of parlok in Aceh, and the position of women in the social political spectrum in Aceh.
Rizwan who is also a former member of the North Aceh Voter Independent Commission explained that parlok in Aceh was explainned the participation of parlok in the political constellation in Aceh is the implementation of Article 75 of Law No.11 / 2006 concerning Aceh Government and Government Regulation No.20 / 2007 concerning Local Political Parties in Aceh. The presence of Parlok is part of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Government of Indonesia and the Free Aceh Movement on 15 August 2005 in Helsinki, Finland.
In the 2019 election, there were four parties who would fight for seats in the Aceh DPR and DPRK. The four parties are the Partai Aceh, the Partai Nanggroe Aceh, the Partai Daerah Aceh, and the Partai Sira.[]
UMY Meneliti Partai Politik Lokal di Aceh
Tim peneliti dari Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta tertarik dengan keberadaan partai politik lokal (parlok) yang hanya ada di Aceh. Dua dosen Universitas Malikussaleh, M Rizwan H Ali dan Hadi Iskandar, memaparkan tentang parlok dari aspek politik dan hukum.
Dosen Ilmu Politik Unimal, M Rizwan H Ali, menyebutkan keberadaan parlok di Aceh menarik minat peneliti dari luar, salah satunya dari Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY). “Parlok menarik diteliti dari berbagai aspek, terutama politik dan hukum,” ujar Rizwan di Kampus Bukit Indah, Selasa (26/2/2019).
Sehari sebelumnya, Rizwan bersama dosen Fakultas Hukum, Hadi Iskandar, menerima tiga peneliti dari UMY masing-masing Dian Eka Rahmawati, Nanik Prasetia Ningsih, dan Septi Nurwijayanti. Isi wawancara antara lain sejarah dan perkembangan parlok di Aceh, pengaruh parlok terhadap perkembangan demokrasi, prospek elektoral parlok di Aceh, dan posisi perempuan dalam spektrum sosial politik di Aceh.
Rizwan yang juga mantan anggota Komisi Independen Pemilih Aceh Utara menjelaskan, parlok di Aceh merupakan menjelaskan, keikutsertaan parlok dalam konstelasi politik di Aceh merupakan implementasi dari Pasal 75 UU No.11/2006 Tentang Pemerintahan Aceh dan Peraturan Pemerintah No.20/2007 Tentang Partai Politik Lokal di Aceh. Kehadiran parlok menjadi bagian dari Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) antara Pemerintah Indonesia dengan Gerakan Aceh Merdeka pada 15 Agustus 2005 di Helsinki, Finlandia.
Dalam pemilu 2019, ada empat parlok yang akan memperebutkan kursi di DPR Aceh dan DPRK. Keempat parlok tersebut adalah Partai Aceh, Partai Nanggroe Aceh, Partai Daerah Aceh, dan Partai Sira.[]
