There is no disproving the fact that the world has been seen to be getting smaller by the day - no wonder it has been referred to as a "global village"; all thanks to the advances in technology. With all these technological advances, having access to the luxury they come with has become like a herculean task. This is the reason a new platform was begun; to grant people access to luxury lifestyle - Elitium, is it.
Overview of the Elitium ecosystem
Elitium was founded by the duo of Raoul Milhado and Jean-Pierre Morand after their initial company; Boatsters; discovered obvious downturns with the luxury market. You will agree with me that the luxury market has been too inefficient, highly risky, and laborious. Boatsters experimented with the rentals of yachts. Getting yachts rentals with Boatsters can take up to a week because of obvious protocols and paperworks involved, and of course because of third party involvements. Moving further from Boatsters is what gave birth to Elitium - to extend the services across many luxury consumer products and not just yachts, while at the same time increasing efficiency and delivery speed.
Elitium is built on the EOS blockchain technology, and because of the incorporation of this, the renting of luxury products is done in smart contracts, not like the paperwork scenario of the parent company, every transaction detail in the contract terms is saved immutably on the blockchain. The entire ecosystem of Elitium is powered by three internal coins.
- EUM Coin
- EUMI Coin
- EUM X Coin
EUM Coin is the tradable Elitium coin which is used for the transaction process, can also be converted to-and-fro fiats (EUR, USD, GBR, CH, and JPY) directly from the site. The EUMI is the insurance token of the platform, it is not tradable but it is held by users as a proof of their smart contracts which will also be their security against cyber attacks. In this case, the token has no market value outside the ecosystem of Elitium. EUM X is the reward token usually given to people for using the services provided by Elitium. So basically, the EUM X is for incentives.
Ease of Access - The Mobile Platform
To simplify the entire platform and to make it easier to use, Elitium has launched a mobile App called the "Elitium Lifestyle App" to improve user's experience and to grant access to customers on-the-go. One may ask; "what are the features of the mobile App?" The App integrates an internal wallet to store your tokens, and also provides an easy-to-use, swift, and secure payment option which is fully run by EOS blockchain. Also, there is an option in the App that allows users to buy the EUM coins directly with fiats, which can be used to make purchases within the platform.
I'm sure you are piqued to see a video DEMO of the Elitium Lifestyle App; here it is
Elitium has also launched an ambassadorial program with some cool perks attached to it, interested people - both experts within the crypto sphere and beyond can apply here. Isn't it awesome that blockchain technology and cryptocurrency has found an application even in the luxury market? We have been waiting for mass adoption of blockchain technology, I believe this will be part of it, and it will revolutionize the world of luxury.
