Last Sunday, a friend of mine sent me a picture with a message saying:
"I am in the Botanical Garden contemplating this beauty, these trees named Curarire bloom for four days, today is the second day, you must come".
I was amazed by that dazzling landscape where the trees wore yellow and the flowers fell to the floor, adorned it making this place something worth admiring.
Last Tuesday i went with my family to the Botanical Garden of Maracaibo, there were many people enjoying the place, with tents, hammocks, pets, bicycles, skates and enough food and beverage to spend the day.
It was very hot but that was not an impediment to start the walk. The first thing we looked for was the area where these trees were but for our bad luck the flowers were already withered and the trees were desolate, although that was the fourth day, the time to bloom was shortened and we could not reach the place because it was somewhat secluded and lonely. Despite of this we took the opportunity to see and feel the beautiful gift of nature that looked like a postcard before our eyes. The place is beautiful, dazzling and well-preserved as well as breathing airs of peace and joy.

The Curarire tree is also called Guamachito, Palo de Arco or Yellow Flower and is characterized by the very strong trunk and excellent wood, in addition to having medicinal properties, for its beautiful flowers from radiant yellow that once a year and usually when spring arrives they decorate the landscape. Last year due to the drought people could not contemplate this rain of gold that reigned and adorned the place.

Continuing with the walk, we went to the Laguna de Loto, admiring this type of leaves and flowers floating on the water and where you can do kayak trips living a unique experience.
We toured the place admiring the lush vegetation, the heat it made was terrible, but we continued with firm step because at the end we are already used to the warmth of my land "The Land of the Beloved Sun".
We arrived at the park that looked like a castle where my children had a lot of fun, so much that they did not want to leave, but we were exhausted and we had to leave after seeing them for a long time between games and laughter.
We left with the desire to return because it worths to visit this place to spend time with the family and also to disconnect from the reality that overwhelms us.
The Botanical Garden is a place 100% recommended for everyone who comes to visit and for those who live in this region.
