I love hip-hop. I have been a fan since I was singing along to Coolio's Gangster Paradise when I was 5 years old; thanks to my older brothers. I'm the youngest. The baby. They schooled me at a young age. So it is no surprise that I have always been a dedicated fan to hip-hop. Today's hip-hop has just been terrible for at least the last 5 years (my opinion) but recently, the rapper known as MGK (Machine Gun Kelly) responded to a song on the legendary Eminem's Kamikaze album called "Not Alike". Now I have been a fan of Eminem since I was 7 years old and have always kept my ear close to Marshall Mather's amazing flow. MGK responded to the song with "Rap Devil". It was a very good diss track and rightfully so since Eminem has always destroyed MCs who decide to disrespect him. Earlier today Eminem dropped a song called "Killshot" on youtube and in my opinion he destroyed MGK. Battle rap is beautiful because it shows the true talent of the art form. Unfortunately in today's culture, we're bamboozled by artists that dont rhyme or make sense. (Mumble rappers) Today is a good day for hip-hop and I feel relieved that the king is defending his throne!
