If you read the midweek reminder, you're already aware that there's a chance this could be the last EmojiPoetry Challenge. The response has been better than I expected this week (and for the first time, people actually voted)! I'm really happy about that π and I'd like to encourage all of the contestants to vote π on entries they like to really get involved in the contest on another level. If you want to enter, it's still not too late (and maybe you can help show me this contest should go on). Here are the rules:
- Write a poem in words and translate it into emojis (or vice versa)
- Create a post that features both versions of your poem
- Tag your post with the hashtag #EmojiPoetry
- Put a link to your post in the comments of this week's first contest post
- Upvote & Resteem this week's first contest post
Winners receive:
1st Place - 10 SBD
2nd Place - 6 SBD
3rd Place - 4 SBD
Half the SBD from the first contest post each week will also be split equally among all contestants (including winners). That means everyone gets something for entering whether or not they're in the top three. You have until this Saturday at midnight (Atlantic Time) to enter or vote and I'll announce the winners on Sunday.
If you like the idea, don't overthink it, just enter π. You don't have to be a professional poet or emoji-ist. Just bring your own brand of creativity and...
