There are thousands of records on the Rock music scene, some of which are quite successful, but some have proved to be failures, but then there are records that enter right into the Olympus of music, becoming milestones.
One of these masterpieces is definitely Led Zeppelin IV engraved in 1971, a work that is considered an artistic heritage of world music.
Many say that despite the fact that many years have passed since its publication Led Zeppelin IV remains one of the most important.
In short, for all lovers of good rock and not only this record should not be missing in their collection.
Original already from the cover of the album where an old ruined wall shows us through its gash a country in the distance, as if to give a detachment of things, in the foreground an old wall with hanging a picture depicting an old farmer with a curved shoulder and intent on carrying bundles of wood, in the distance the landscape as an image of the new that advances.
Opening the disk and turning the case the image depicted and that of a hermit that seems to symbolize the halo of mystery and magical content in the tracks of the disk.
And the new advances are in this wonderful record, although there are still traces of the previous work in this Led Zeppelin realize perhaps their most important album, their absolute masterpiece.
Let's talk now about the individual tracks on the record; already from the first notes we remain enchanted, the opening of the disk is up to Black Dog a piece of excellent thickness, the percussive rhythm of Bonham are something magical and where the listener has already idea of the stylistic change of the band.
Rock and Roll is the second song in pure rock & roll style very rough and impactful.
As mentioned previously in the disc there are still traces of the past and in The Battle of Evermore this is beautiful, a piece that seems to belong to the previous work.
The fourth song is the masterpiece, it's been years and although it was not proposed as a single today it turns out to be one of the most programmed radio, logically I'm talking about Stairway to Heaven, what can we say or add what has been said over the years, then we can only repeat it to the infinite, historical, immortal piece, with a particular charm that hardly any other piece can transmit emotionally, not to mention that guitar solo is one of the more beautiful than rock, goosebumps, I think defining it wonderful is almost like belittling its charm, you have to listen to it.
For the owners of the old dear LP at this point finished the masterpiece we are forced to turn the vinyl to listen to the second part of Led Zeppelin IV.
Mysty Mountain Hop the first track of the B-side where the organ of is the master accompanied by the voice of Plant and flanked in the rhythm by the guitar of Jimmy Page.
Follows Four Sticks and also here we can enjoy the great qualities of John Bonham, drummer that I always liked, has a particular style that distinguishes him from many of his colleagues and who have always done a reason to interest, good riff with Page guitars.
Going to California represents the other link to the past, perhaps the sweetest and hottest piece of the album.
Closes When the Levee Breaks very blues song, genre that has always influenced the style of the group, even here appreciable the guitar of Page.
I conclude the review saying that listening to music is something beautiful and that often can also give us emotions.
Sad or happy, they are always moods that then each of us listening to certain passages associates.
Some cause us sadness for events that have happened, others can remind us of beautiful moments.
Here this record is able to get excited only by listening to it, you do not need a particular situation to make it nice, I think it remains is a Musical Masterpiece
