First let me explain how to buy the steems on the steemit.com
If you have bitrex account you will have btc or etherum on that account .
Simply Log into www.steemit.com
then click on the wallet

The click on the buy steem or steem power A blocktrade page will be open which is used to convert your btc or etherum to steem, like i show i piture below
When you exchange your btc to steem the deposite steems will be shown here when you went to your wallet
