Good night to all #Steemians rationality is defined as follows:
"It is the ability to think, evaluate, understand and act according to certain principles of improvement and consistency, to satisfy some objective or purpose. The exercise of rationality is subject to continuous improvement." Any mental construction carried out through procedures rational has therefore a distinguishing logical-mechanical structure (reasoning). " Source
This way I think, if rationality is the ability to think, evaluate and understand, because humanity has acted throughout history in a largely irrational.
From my clear point of view, to tell the truth, humanity in favor of many catastrophes, including worldwide, throughout history.
From tsunamis to deadly diseases, there are many things in the world that can harm the human being. However, we often harm ourselves by negligence, by a wrong decision, by sheer malice or even by irrational behavior. Which makes us act as wild beasts without any logical reasoning and bringing only destruction and death to the planet.
The following image shows that irrational behavior that human beings possess.
These are the nuclear bombs dropped during the Second World War in 1945 Hiroshima and Nagasaki which caused the death of 129,000- 146,000 people between civilians and military personnel, a large sample of human irrationality.
A true rational humanity would be one that opts for the evolution of itself in the best possible way, coexisting with all the living beings that surround us harmoniously and respecting each other.
