Este nombre es un pseudónimo que he adquirido desde hace muchos, muchos años como mi nombre artístico y lo he adoptado en el mundo crypto, aunque muchos de los que ya conozco en persona me llaman Mariana o Mary. Ustedes me pueden llamar como gusten, aunque Helena Meza, Helena con H y Meza con Z es catchy, a mi parecer.

Soy y vivo en Maracaibo, Venezuela. Estudio, trabajo. Realmente, trabajo mucho.
Tengo 4 trabajos, una carrera universitaria congelada, otra a punto de terminar y muchos POAPS de eventos crypto que aprecio más que cualquier otro certificado.
En el mundo Crypto, hago vida en varias comunidades como la de #100díasderesearch con @Cryptolawyer. Allí nos vamos formando sobre proyectos crypto mientras nos vamos conociendo y se ha formado un lindo grupo.
¡Este fue el POAP que hicimos, allí en la comunidad, por el cumpleaños de @Cryptolawyer a quien adoramos!
|| I am and live in Maracaibo, Venezuela. Study, work. Really, I work a lot. I have 4 jobs, a frozen college degree, another one about to finish and many POAPS of crypto events that I appreciate more than any other certificate. In the Crypto world, I make life in various communities like the #100deresearch with @Cryptolawyer. There we are forming on crypto projects while we get to know each other and a nice group has been formed. ¡ This was the POAP we did, there in the community, for the birthday of @Cryptolawyer whom we adore! |
I’m Nod Builder at @Cryptoherd. Today we reached 100 members in the Telegram group, and by twitter we are more than 200. He started with a few friends, interacting daily, getting to know each other, learning more about crypto and blockchain, attending courses and commenting on ideas. Together, we have done a Diploma in Finance and continue to prepare, hoping to attend crypto events in Venezuela this year and more strongly next year.
También formo parte del Átomo de Marketing de Magmaverse, es una DAO incubadora de proyectos Web3 en el Metaverso. Las experiencias allí han sido geniales. Recuerdo la primera vez que experimenté lo que era sumergirme en el metaverso, (risas) no me quería salir. ¡Tienen que probarlo! Con o sin oculus, es genial. Con Magmaverse he aprendido mucho sobre redactar en función del marketing, creación de contenido y también he dejado atrás la pena (que no tenía mucha tampoco, jeje) pero he agarrado el valor para hacer twitter spaces, cada viernes a las 8pm hora de Venezuela, y con mucho cariño y esfuerzo estamos creando una comunidad orgánica, unida, que nos apoya y aprende con nosotros. Comunidad de la cual también aprendemos, porque cada aporte de ellos es maravilloso, cada reacción y comentario es nuestra mejor retribución.
I am also part of the Magmaverse Marketing Atom, it is a DAO incubator for Web3 projects in the Metaverse. The experiences there have been great. I remember the first time I experienced what it was like to immerse myself in the metaverse, (laughs) I didn’t want to get out. Yes You have to try it! With or without oculus, it’s great. With Magmaverse I have learned a lot about writing based on marketing, content creation and I have also left behind the penalty (I didn’t have much either, hehe) but I have grabbed the courage to do twitter spaces, every Friday at 8pm time in Venezuela, and with much affection and effort we are creating an organic community, united, that supports us and learns with us. Community from which we also learn, because every contribution of them is wonderful, every reaction and comment is our best retribution.

En la vida real, soy Docente de Inglés en un Liceo, donde doy clases a alumnos de bachillerato desde primer año hasta quinto año, o lo que es lo mismo, desde el 7mo grado hasta el 2do año del ciclo diversificado de Ciencias. Es curioso lo de la educación en mi vida, es una de esas cosas donde tuve el "don", la vocación, como le quieran llamar y me enganchó. Los Docentes somos, al igual que los padres, alfareros y los niños, niñas y adolescentes son esa arcilla que podemos ir moldeando día a día, con consejos, con amor, con cariño. Increíble como muchos de mis alumnos muestran cada día necesitar de una mamá o de un papá que no les prestan atención, que no están presentes en su vida aunque así lo crean.
In real life, I teach English in a Lyceum, where I teach high school students from first year to fifth year, or what is the same, from the 7th grade to the 2nd year of the diversified cycle of Sciences. It is curious about education in my life, it is one of those things where I had the "gift", the vocation, whatever you want to call it and it hooked me. Teachers are, like parents, potters and children and adolescents are that clay that we can mold day by day, with advice, with love, with affection. Amazing how many of my students show every day they need a mom or a dad who don’t pay attention to them, who aren’t present in their life even if they think so.
He visto tantas cosas en la educación, algunas muy lindas y otras muy tristes. Siempre combino el aprendizaje del idioma inglés con clases de orientación, de ayuda, conversaciones donde ellos puedan tener ese espacio para conocerse, para conectar conmigo y con los demás compañeros. Un espacio seguro donde no se les juzgue, donde se les oriente, donde con risas podamos desnudar la verdad de la vida, hallar un significado al futuro, considerar opciones y que tengan las respuestas que quizás en casa no tienen. Ser Docente es un TODO. Es una tarea que a veces cansa y agota, sobretodo porque es tan mal remunerada y debido a esto es que tengo mis otras labores y trato de encontrar el equilibrio para seguir adelante.
I’ve seen so many things in education, some very pretty and some very sad. I always combine learning the English language with orientation classes, help classes, conversations where they can have that space to get to know each other, to connect with me and with other classmates. A safe space where they are not judged, where they are guided, where with laughter we can strip the truth of life, find meaning to the future, consider options and have the answers that perhaps at home do not have. Being a Teacher is a WHOLE. It is a task that sometimes wears and exhausts, especially because it is so poorly paid and because of this is that I have my other tasks and try to find the balance to move forward.

Tengo otro trabajo los fines de semana, al cual he renunciado dos veces y me han vuelto a llamar tres (Risas) Sí, unos jefes increíbles y bellos, pero cuando mi estabilidad y descanso se ven afectados, me tomo vacaciones del trabajo, dejando todo listo para que alguien más me suplante.
En este trabajo, a diferencia de todo lo que he nombrado hasta ahora, soy mesera. La chica invisible que sólo ven cuando necesitan una bebida o una servilleta. A la que no miran a la cara, la que los recibe y despide con una sonrisa y amabilidad, pero los clientes no lo ven, unos pocos sí y me devuelven la sonrisa. A la que creen que dejarle algún billete es mucho, y a la que a veces sí le dan propina y responde muy agradecida. La que está pendiente de la limpieza y de sí necesitan algo más.

Allí me siento muy útil, activa. Soy muy servicial por default y gracias a Dios es un trabajo que queda cerca de mi casa, y que los jefes son una pareja muy agradable, congeniamos y saben ser buenos jefes. Se preocupan y me escuchan.

I feel very useful there, active. I am very helpful by default and thank God it is a job that is close to my home, and that the bosses are a very nice couple, we hit it off and know how to be good bosses. They care and listen to me.

Aparte de todo lo comentado anteriormente, me gusta leer, escribir, escuchar música es mi forma de relajarme, ver series que me lleven a otro mundo, que me distraigan de mis propios pensamientos. Hacer cursos para aprender y estar al día. Escuchar podcast al despertar y al dormir, llevar mi agenda y tratar de cumplir con todo lo que me comprometo. Ser responsable en todas y cada una de mis facetas. Gracias por leerme.
Beyond everything I've mentioned already, I like to read, write, listen to music is my way of relaxing, watching series that take me to another world, that distract me from my own thoughts.
