[Sandman]
We got to know the actors who will be taking part in the adaptation of Gaiman's comic. Apart from Charles Dance aka. Lord Tywin Lannister, I don't know any of them. Comics too - although I like this art form, few titles interest me enough to buy it. The series itself, however, I would like to see, the more that Netflix reportedly invests a lot of money in it and has plans for it, as in the case of "House of Cards" or "Orange is the New Black". A friend and a few colleagues praised him very much, and by the content of their praise, I conclude that I will like it. The series is definitely different from it (I've heard it from several independent sources), but I didn't pay attention, and why? I don't know the original, so these words won't tell me much.
Speaking of "Sandman", the radio play has been extended for the 2nd and 3rd seasons.

[Disney Star and their offer outside the US]
On February 23, a new streaming service added to Disney + will start outside the US. Basically it will be anything that isn't PG-13 owned by Disney. Why a name change? Probably because Disney wants to clearly separate children's content from older production. In the USA, they can slowly change it, gradually prepare their main target (a sudden change of brand always causes a stir, some people stop paying for the service, some do not understand what happened etc.), and that outside North America, the name "Disney +" is not yet like that well-established, they can afford an immediate change. Are you going to subscribe to Disney + or will you stay with Netflix, HBO Go (before changing its name to HBOMax) or Amazon?

[HBOMax]
AT&T said it has doubled its subscriptions due to the premiere of "Wonder Woman 1984" on the WarnerBros streaming platform. These numbers aren't too big compared to Netflix, Amazon Prime, or even Disney +, which is far behind them but is slowly catching up with them. It is a bit funny, because HBO has had a reputation for great series and many popular brands for years. Well, these are the consequences of ignoring streaming and starting this project too late. Will HBO's va banque decision pay off in the long term? Well, it depends on several factors. First of all, whether HBO aka. Warner will attract viewers with its original content, primarily series. Movies, however loud and popular they may be, are just movies. They will attract people for a month or two, but they won't keep people on this platform. The series that (as Netflix, D + and Amazon showed) attract many viewers, and the more of them, the longer they stay. Another factor is Covid-19 and cinemas, if everything returns to normal in 2021 (and it's hard to speculate because it has just started), the cinemas will definitely remember who showed them the middle finger and who did not. They'll have tons of Universal, Disney, and smaller studios that can't afford their own streaming platform, so they'll be able to either offer Warner worse conditions or get out of there completely. Then they will lose twice as much, because people will not be able to pay for 3-4 streams, and since the above-mentioned platforms have already gathered a group of fans, HBOMax will not be the streaming of first choice. Not to mention they have tons of technical issues and poor PR because of their early decision. If the situation with cinemas does not improve, they have a chance to break out, because people will already come to terms with the new situation. Nevertheless, they still made a lot of shit with the quick decision about the movies and their streaming premieres. If they had agreed with the movie theater directors and their film directors first, they would not have been put in this position. Well, the sly usually loses more of their greed.

[TV series with Jared Leto]
We will see Jared Leto ("Blade Runner 2046", "Suicide Squad") and Anna Hathaway ("Les Miserables", "The Dark Knight Rises") in the new Apple + series. The source material is the popular podcast entitled "WeCrashed: The Rise and Fall of WeWork."

[Doctor Octopus is back ...?]
So far, Marvel and Sony have not confirmed this information, but if you believe Zendaya (the actress who played the role of MJ), we will see the antagonist from the old "SpiderMan" in the newest part. I would love to see him because I liked the creation very much, as well as the movie itself. I know comic book fans complained a lot about this version of Dr. Octopus, but I don't read them, so I didn't pay attention to it.

[Three Men and a Baby]
As reported by TheWrap, Disney hired Mr. Mo Marable (known from series such as "Woke", "Miracle Workers", "Insecure") to direct a remake of "Three Men and a Baby" starring Zac Efron.

[Willow]
As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Jonathan Entwistle will be the director of the series "Willow". He is the creator of the series "The End Of The F *** ing World", which I personally didn't like and I don't understand its phenomenon. Anticipating the questions - it's not bad, actually pretty good, but I was expecting something better from so many positive reviews. Plus, since it's Disney and the same source, actor Zach Braff is set to star in a remake of the movie "Cheaper by the dozen", which will hit Disney +.

[New film by Darren Aronofsky]
As reported by Deadline, Jared Leto and Aronofsky will meet again on the set. This time with the movie "Adrift", which was inspired by a short book by Kojie Suzuki, author of "Ring" and "Dark Water". Great decision for me. I love movies directed by Mr. Aronofsky and the acting skills of Jared Leto. According to the same reports, MGM wants to buy out this movie.
