Gin Ricky Cocktail
The Rickey is a category of cocktails that includes an alcoholic beverage as a base that changes...
according to the combination, half a squeezed lime and soda, these two ingredients being common in all variations. Our Gin Rickey, which bets on gin as its base drink, was created at the end of the 19th century in the United States as a result of Joe Rickey, which was made with Bourbon. Ingredients:
Source
4.5cl of gin (or bourbon or whiskey)
2,2 cl lime juice
A lime peel
5.2 cl soda
Gin Rickey is served in a tall glass with lots of ice. First, mix the gin with the squeezed half a lime and a lime peel. Add the ice and stir. Finally, add the carbonated water (soda). By trading gin for bourbon we get a Joe Rickey.
