Irish Car Bomba Cocktail
Shotguns don't have to be the big enemies of the night. And although they don't have as much...
glamour like cocktails, they don't turn their backs on originality. Today, for example, we bring you a very tasty shot in which the only thing unpleasant is the name. The Irish Car Bomb is called the Irish Car Bomb because all its ingredients come from Ireland, but also because of the number of car bombs in the country since the 1970s, in the midst of the conflict between Catholics and Protestants. Its unfortunate name has led many bartenders to refuse to do so.
Beyond the name, the Irish Car Bomb is a tasty blend that bears the true hallmark of Ireland, as it is made with Guinness beer, Jameson whisky and Baileys. The quantities are distributed as follows:
Half a large glass of beer (about 150 ml)
Half a glass of shot of whiskey
Half a glass of Baileys shot.
The whiskey and the Baileys come together separately, in the shot glass. And the mixture is dropped into the large glass with beer, producing a small splash (hence the Car Bomb). It must be drunk quickly because otherwise it will be cut. And in moderation, we all know what's going on with the shot thing....
