The Voice of Galicia to a series of cocktail shakers from A Coruña, who were asked to capture the essence of the city in a cocktail. The result pleased those responsible for Santa Teresa, the main spirit of the drink, who decided to present it as their star team in the Salon.
Ingredients
2 cl St. Theresa's Rum Select
Wakame seaweed
Geneva (aroma of the sea)
0,5 cl Blue Curaçao
A blow of frappé ice
3 cl Sour Mix
1 cl egg white
Previously hydrated seaweed or sea nettles
Macerate the gin in wakame seaweed in a glass atomizer and leave to rest for a day or day and a half. On the other hand, macerate the rum also in wakame seaweed (it can be made inside the same bottle of rum). Then let stand for three hours. Put the salicorn seaweed in a flute or port wine glass. Cover half a glass with frappé ice. Pour the mashed rum into a blender. Then mix Sour Mix with the egg white and a stroke of Blue Curaçao, simulating the sea. Mix everything together and let the mixture cool in a shaker. Then serve carefully in a champagne glass. Spray the gin macerated in seaweed on top of the mixture, reminiscent of the scent of the sea. The result is frankly spectacular.
