This group composed by 4 team finished as expected, the favorites Argentina and Brazil shows its experience in this kind of competition and fight between them to reach for the promotion match.
Brazil, the one who won this group, with it ace Beatriz Haddad (21 years) winning all her matches, showing that at her young age she can win hard matches, actually is the number 59 of the world after having a great 2017, reaching the final in Seoul and losing against the number 11 of the world, and having another great results, this make her be the best ranked player in this competition and having to fight against Veronica Cepede Royg in the promotion play-off to give her country a place in the World Group
Argentina had suffer a lot with the weak teams of the group, in spite of winning both encounters 3-0, they were easy matches,at leats in the paper, but were hard to win, Catalina Pella, being it best player had suffered against all her rivals, losing sets in all of her matches, but making a great game against Haddad in the encounter with Brazil.

Venezuela and Guatemala have the weakest teams in all the competition, having just two active professional players, but showing what they are made of, a player to keep an eye on? Aymet Uzcategui shows that despite her short age, she battled against all her rivals and defeating Ce and Schippers, also lose a close match against Ormaechea in the encounter with Argentina, she is a great player and have a big love for her flag, and she is the player to keep an eye on

Today will be the last encounters, Paraguay vs Brazil fighting in the promotional play-off, Colombia vs Argentina looking to complete the podium and Chile vs Venezuela fighting to stay in the Group I, Guatemala have been relegated to the Americas Group II, the results of the encounters and a show analysis will be write today later in the 3rd part of this post.
