The main dish of the competition, the best teams, the best players, and the result is thar Paraguay will play the play-off to be in the World Group II
In the first encounter Montserrat Gonzalez showed the hierarchy and took advantage of the local public's support to defeat Nathaly Kurata, giving the firts point to it country.
Next to that, the best game of all the competition, the two best players,and the showed why they are in those ranbking positions, giving a whole spectacle, that either one of them could win, but the balance was on the local side and Veronica Cepede Royg defeated Beatriz Haddad Maia in the best match by far in this competition where both players had 3 match points in the last set, truly a game to remember.
Brazil is going to try the next year to reach to the World Group II, it going to be a big favorite the next year.

3rd to 4rd Play-Off
Colombia 0 - 2 Argentina

Argentina won this encounter and complete the podium of the competition, it seems that Colombian wanted to give a chance to the other girls that had have less protagonism in the competition and having a chance to play and show what they are made of. Argentina used all it team and gave her best player a break from the single but winnig both encounters in the same way.
Argentina shows during all the competition that they are a good team and are going to fight the next year to acomplish the promotion to the world Group, the same goes to the colombian team, they young players are going to grow up to show what they're made of next year

Relegation Game
Chile 2 - 0 Venezuela
Alexa Guarachi - Aymet Uzcategui 76(3) 62
Fernanda Brito - Andrea Gamiz 63 63
Whis this results, Venezuela will accompany Guatemala in the Group II the next year, congratulations to Chile who will mantein the category.
Guarachi and Brito made a great performance by defeating a tough rival like the Venezuelans who fought until the end, good luck next year for both teams.
