I hope it’s a nice day for you all! I guess the most awkward part has come… yes, I consider strangely awkward to introduce myself. It’s like I suddenly and completely forget who I am… well, I’ll stop beating about the bush and I’ll start talking about myself.
My name is Yusneidy Gomez but some people call me “Yus”. I’m from a small town in Venezuela and I’m 20 years old. As you may read at the top of my headline, I’m a Modern Languages Student. Currently, I’m studying the ninth of tenth academic semester of this career and I’m about to finish it. Spanish is my mother tongue but I can also speak English, Italian and Japanese.
I’m completely in love with languages, for real, I love them since I was a child. I found extraordinary to be able to communicate what I feel and what I think with other people and it feel marvelous to understand them. Languages are beautiful and essentials because they give us the chance to interact with people and get to know their culture. Nowadays I’m able to speak four languages and I’m planning to learn a fifth this year.
My hobbies are to workout, to bake, to read (books and manga), to watch my favorite anime (Attack on Titan), to listen to music, to sing and to learn new words. I’d describe myself with these words: quiet, creative, bittersweet, grumpy, tidy and attentive. I always put my heart on everything I do because for me you do it right or you don’t do it at all.
