Recently I was watching an edition of Good Morning, America on the American Broadcasting Company network (“ABC”), and they were discussing the topic of online sexual predators. On that same television show, a 37-year-old woman described a software application that she used in order to make herself look like an 11-year-old girl in online chat rooms so that she could catch adult men who sought to have sexual relations with this imaginary young girl whom she was portraying. It seems as though nowadays everyone wants to be the next Chris Hansen in spite of the scandals that this fallen journalist has been involved in ever since the National Broadcasting Company network (“NBC”) gave him the ax.
There certainly appears to be a whole myriad of Chris-Hansen copycats throughout the United States of America and Canada who are engaging in the same vigilantism that he did when he hosted “To Catch A Predator” on Dateline: NBC so many years ago, except that these individuals are performing these online sting operations on a much less professional level than he did. Everywhere you go on YouTube, there is some online vigilante group filming and humiliating a suspect for appearing at a given location to hook up with a teenage minor for sexual intercourse. These same vigilantes’ fans eat up everything they post like observers in an arena of gladiators back in the days of Ancient Rome. They even give money donations to these same vigilantes.
Lately I have been surfing around YouTube to find out whether or not these amateur online vigilantes have continued to conduct their sting operations in spite of the coronavirus pandemic. Surprisingly so, the coronavirus pandemic has not scared any of these Chris-Hansen copycats out of conducting their business as usual. In fact, none of them appear to be practicing what the press and the media currently refer to as social distancing. They even still get up in the suspects’ faces upon confronting them about their intentions. This is one of the reasons that I do not have a very high opinion of many of these online vigilantes. That is, they don’t appear to have enough common sense to be doing what they’re doing without putting the lives of themselves and others in danger. Then again, the fact that these online vigilantes are being extremely careless about exposing themselves to the coronavirus could mark the beginning of the end of the era of everyday civilians conducting Chris-Hansen-style online sting operations.
If enough of these do-gooders end up becoming sick and even dying from the coronavirus, other online vigilantes are going to get the message and begin to close shop with their online sting operations. I would never wish for anyone to get infected with the coronavirus, but facts are facts. I’ve read comments by several YouTubers in which they have complained that they do not believe that these online vigilantes are really all that concerned about the well-being and safety of sexually active adolescents or about whether or not underage adolescents decide to stray outside their age circles in search of romance, for a lack of a better description. These same YouTubers have posted that they believe that these online vigilantes are merely looking to get themselves on camera and make money off of their controversial activities. I feel inclined to agree with these same YouTubers who criticize these online vigilantes in this same regard.
The audiences of these online vigilantes who post their videos on YouTube mostly consist of self-proclaimed child advocates and self-appointed pedo-experts rather than normal people simply looking for some kind of entertainment. What I find so interesting upon reading many of the posts from these online vigilantes’ fans in comments sections is that these people have a very deluded perception of what age really is. They rant and rave about how they believe that age is not just a number and that liberals should stop treating it as such. However, they seem to take a great amount of writer’s license on what constitutes a child and what constitutes an elderly individual.
Many of these self-proclaimed child advocates and self-appointed pedo-experts who frequent the YouTube channels of amateur online vigilantes as well as Chris Hansen wannabes believe that most young people are, in a figurative sense, wearing diapers until they’re 25 years of age. That is, these self-righteous do-gooders insist that a person’s brain isn’t completely developed until that age. Then they also believe that a man changes into a decrepit 107-year-old zombie on his fortieth birthday. These self-proclaimed child advocates and self-appointed pedo-experts must live very depressing lives for them to believe that 25 years old to 40 years old (a span of only 15 years) is the prime of one’s life.
Now, I don’t appreciate it whenever some old man nearly runs into me with his shopping cart at a grocery store, which seems to be often. I don’t like it either when these old men refuse to say “Excuse me” whenever they nudge past me in the supermarket. Whenever something of that nature happens, I often feel like yelling at them and making a scene in front of the entire store. However, my definition of an elderly man is not a 48-year-old man or a 62-year-old man but rather an 89-year-old man or a 99-year-old man. I would also say that a 41-year-old man is hardly ready to appear in a television commercial about Colonial Penn Life Insurance as a prospective customer of that product. As there is a major difference between toddlers and teenagers, there is also a major difference between middle-aged men and elderly men. However, self-proclaimed child advocates and self-appointed pedo-experts appear to fail to make such a distinction.
Nobody is legally a senior citizen until they get to be 65 years of age and become eligible to collect social security benefits, or at least here in the United States of America it is that way. My school of thought is that so long as your father is still alive, you will technically continue not to be an old man even after you are 40 years of age. According to Oprah Winfrey, as she stated in one of her television talk shows, one is considered to be a kid until they are 52 years of age in the Japanese culture. Therefore, a 50-year-old man could even be considered to be a spring chicken in Tokyo and in other cultures where the life span is long.
There are people who continue to identify themselves as middle-aged adults even after 65 years of age on up until their 85th birthday. Take the example of Joy Behar of The View. She is 77 years old, and she never identifies herself as an elderly woman but rather as a middle-aged woman.
1. Chris Hansen Was Once An Influential Icon Of American Television
For the very few of you who may not know who Chris Hansen is, he is a fallen journalist who made his claim to fame as a host of a television series named “To Catch A Predator” on the weekly television show named Dateline: NBC, which aired throughout most of the first decade of the twenty-first century. In that series, Mr. Hansen and his television crew teamed up with a vigilante organization known as Perverted-Justice to have someone pose online as a minor usually between 13 and 15 years of age and lure an adult to their location who was seeking to have sexual intercourse with such a minor.
Mr. Hansen’s television program received such a cult following that YouTubers eventually began copycatting his activities and formed their own online vigilante groups throughout North America. Now, there is even an equivalent of this same television program known as V síti in the Czech Republic. Of course, that television online sting crew has to work within an even stricter set of guidelines than Chris Hansen’s one did inasmuch as the age of consent in that nation is only 15 years old rather than 16, 17 or 18 years old.
I do not speak or understand Czech, but I was curious to find out how this television show compared with Chris Hansen’s former operation on NBC. Below is a video of a trailer of that same Czech program.
The Czech Republic’s Answer To “To Catch A Predator.”
Chris Hansen Appears In A Parody Of His Own Television Program To Be Honored
In hindsight, after finding out about the tragedy involving Amanda Todd, I can understand why parents valued what Mr. Hansen did during his tenure with NBC as the host of “To Catch A Predator.” I’ve seen both the movies titled Strangeland and Trust, so I am not mindless of how dangerous a situation can become whenever a teenage or pre-teenage girl communicates online with someone whom she doesn’t know from Adam. At the same time, it concerned me how Mr. Hansen allowed for his television program to become more focused on wrongfully demonizing all adult/adolescent romantic relationships than on actually protecting young girls from the truly dangerous predators that were out there, and he did so at times with a sort of Lolita style of sensationalism to his television program that had nothing to do with sexual assault or sexual abuse.
I was watching one of his episodes of “To Catch A Predator,” and what particularly grabbed my attention about this one television program was that it was about a 23-year-old man attempting to hook up with a 15-year-old girl for sexual intercourse, which is something that would not only be legal in many nations throughout the world but would not even be stigmatized in other cultures, including industrialized Western cultures. Below is the YouTube video for that particular episode.
A 23-Year-Old Man Attempts To Hook Up With A 15-Year-Old Girl Over The Internet
Now, I’m not going to suggest that any parent should not be angry at a 23-year-old man who arranges to meet up with their 15-year-old daughter for a prospective “pump-and-dump” liaison. Any concerned parent would blow their top if they even suspected that something of that nature were about to happen. However, after watching the above YouTube video, I notice that Mr. Hansen misconstrues the situation as something other than what it really is, and his television program gradually turns into a pedophile-panic political campaign.
In the above YouTube video, Mr. Hansen is even found admitting that he and the people in Perverted-Justice set up these online sting operations to lure adults looking to have sexual intercourse with teenagers who were interested in becoming sexually active. Therefore, I would have to say that most of his online sting operations were really only missions to combat unwanted teenage pregnancies rather than to catch actual predators. Also, his online sting operation in that particular episode of his television program reeks of entrapment in that respect.
Where Mr. Hansen took matters too far was when he insisted that he was waging war against child molestation in this same online sting operation. It may be illegal for a 23-year-old man to have sexual intercourse with a 15-year-old girl in most state jurisdictions here in the land of milk and honey depending on a number of circumstances. For example, depending on whether the two sex partners are married to each other or the underage sex partner is legally emancipated, which is a possibility in California for someone as young as 14 years of age. However, I would hardly call a man in his early twenties a child molester for having a sexual interest in a 15-year-old girl. For that matter, we might as well accuse Levi Johnston and Isaac Frausto of being a pair of short-eyed freaks, because they both ruined the lives of the underage girls they got pregnant. Never mind that they were the same age as them when they did it.
Levi Johnston even raped his underage baby mama (Bristol Palin) when she was in high school, and Isaac Frausto took advantage of the obvious inability of his underage baby mama (Maddie Lambert) to say no to his sexual advances back when she was 13 years old. In light of these facts, it was somewhat hypocritical on Isaac Frausto’s part to have said in one of his YouTube videos that he had never raped anyone. He and Levi Johnston are both pieces of human excrement.
I remember having seen a film from the Netherlands so many years ago in which a father caught his 15-year-old daughter having sexual intercourse with her 23-year-old boyfriend. The father didn’t beat the boyfriend up, but he made a very furious facial expression at him. The scene was preceded by a conversation between the 15-year-old daughter and her father in which the daughter made a point to her father that because he had hooked up with her mother when he was only 17 years old and her mother was 28 years old, she found nothing wrong with having a 23-year-old boyfriend at the age of fifteen. I giggled a little when the father told his daughter that she was being unfair to him in holding that whole scenario over him like a ton of bricks to challenge his disapproval of her relationship with a man eight years older than her. The current statutory-rape laws in the Netherlands appear to give a teenage minor a reasonable amount of say in whether or not their adult sex partner can be charged with a crime if that minor is below the age of consent in that nation, which is 16 years old, whereas a teenage minor in the same situation here in the United States of America runs the risk of being charged with contempt of court if he or she refuses to cooperate with the authorities and the prosecution in a statutory-rape trial against their adult sex partner.
Looking at the above-described online sting operation that Mr. Hansen conducted to catch a 23-year-old man for attempting to hook up with a 15-year-old girl for sexual intercourse, various concerns come to mind. Here we have a prospective sexually active girl possibly hooking up with a 23-year-old man at the age of fifteen, which is a year older than what Drew Barrymore was when she hooked up with an 18-year-old man named Corey Feldman who currently proclaims himself to be some kind of spokesman for the so-called war against “Hollywood pedophilia.” This is also a scenario involving a 23-year-old man wanting to get intimate with a girl whose age is fifteen, which is only one year younger than what Revé Drew Walsh was when she began dating a 22-year-old man named John Walsh who would later become the co-founder of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Let’s also keep in mind that both Drew Barrymore and Revé Drew Walsh were under the statutory age of consent in their respective jurisdictions when they first became involved with their respective significant others at the time, and their respective significant others were both legally adults.
Another interesting and even ironic aspect of Mr. Hansen’s mission to send a 23-year-old man to prison for attempting to hook up with a 15-year-old girl for sexual intercourse was that Mr. Hansen’s ancestors are from Denmark, which is a nation where a 15-year-old girl is considered to be a consenting adult. That is, the age of consent in that nation is 15 years old, and supposedly their criminal justice system is very lax about prosecuting individuals who may inadvertently dip below the legal age of consent by one or two years. In other words, it appears that an adult man has to be a really horrible person in an Ariel-Castro or Phillip-Garrido sense before he will be sent to prison for having sexual intercourse with a 13- or 14-year-old girl in Denmark. Moreover, Denmark has a worldwide reputation of being permissive about allowing for adolescent minors to cross-pollinate with adults in the romance marketplace there.
I vaguely remember watching an episode of Inside Edition on television back in the 1990s in which Bill O’Reilly traveled to Copenhagen, Denmark to investigate the promiscuity among adolescents as young as 12 and 13 years old that inundated their pop culture at the time. Mr. O’Reilly was becoming constantly shocked every time that he interviewed a 13-year-old Danish girl or a 13-year-old Danish boy in front of a nightclub, and these youngsters would show him their condoms or talk about pick-up artistry. They all smiled and smirked at him as he raised his eyebrows, because they obviously knew that he disapproved. What stood out the most obvious was the fact that these adolescents frequented the same nightclubs as the adults did, and it became more than apparent that they did not always stick with people their own age in their romantic pursuits.
Mr. O’Reilly also interviewed a Danish father who was getting ready to take his 12-year-old son to a sex museum there in Copenhagen so that the young boy could learn about the facts of life. Mr. O’Reilly asked the father whether he realized that if he and his son had been in Cincinnati, Ohio, he definitely would have been under arrest. The Danish father responded that he was well aware of it and that the Danish people had a different perspective of what was age-appropriate than Americans did. In any event, it came to me as a surprise once I found out that Chris Hansen was Danish-American in light of the fact that his ancestors come from a nation that not only is tolerant to adult/adolescent romantic relationships but also appears to encourage them.
If Chris Hansen were still hosting “To Catch A Predator” and he were to take his entire crew over to Denmark to perform an online sting operation to lure a 23-year-old man to his location who was seeking to have sexual relations with a 15-year-old girl, that same man would not become embarrassed after Mr. Hansen entered on the scene. Instead, that 23-year-old man would be asking Mr. Hansen to lend him a comb after he realized that he was going to be on camera. In Denmark, there is simply no law against a 23-year-old man having sexual intercourse with a 15-year-old girl, and their society does not frown upon it either.
Anyhow, Chris Hansen eventually cleaned up after himself and made it clear to his television viewers that he was not in any way attempting to expand the definition of pedophilia. He stated that he was well aware that the actual definition of pedophilia was when an adolescent or an adult over 16 years of age was sexually attracted to a prepubescent child five or more years their junior, and he promised that he was going to adhere to that same standard in defining pedophilia from that point on. Mr. Hansen then claimed that the main objective of his television program “To Catch A Predator” was to assist the authorities in enforcing the statutory-age-of-consent laws in every state jurisdiction of our nation.
Of course, Mr. Hansen’s fan base continued to misuse the terms “pedophile” and “pedophilia” to mean something other than what they really meant. Mr. Hansen also continued to be permissive about people voicing their pedophile-panic propaganda on his television program. He himself has become a flip-flop on what he believes to be the actual definition of pedophilia, and he continues to do so to this very day.
What particularly grabs my attention in the above video is that one of the suspects was a 22-year-old virgin. Somehow I find it to be a contradiction to reality that a virgin can actually be a sexual predator, and I find it an even bigger contradiction to reality that someone who fits that description could even be convicted of a sex crime and have to register as a sex offender after his release from prison. It also greatly disturbs me that he may have ended up losing his virginity to a prison rapist. Mr. Hansen subscribes to “The Howard Stern Show” channel on YouTube. Therefore, it can be no secret that he is someone who likes controversy.
Nevertheless, in spite of all the imperfections that his television program on NBC may have had during its early stages, Mr. Hansen eventually became an icon of American television and a major part of American pop culture. However, later years did not hold such a promising future for him. Nevertheless, there are people who view Mr. Hansen as a living legend to this very day; and if he were to run for president of our nation, I would not be the least surprised if these same people were to finance his presidential campaign insofar as he would have the current presidential candidates extremely worried about their prospects of being elected to the Oval Office.
2. Chris Hansen Has Very Little Chance Of Prevailing In His War Against YouTuber Onision.
Before I proceed on with this Hive-Blog article here of mine, there is one thing that I would like to clarify to everyone reading it. I am not a fan of YouTuber Onision nor am I a sympathizer of his. I don’t subscribe to his YouTube channel nor have I ever subscribed to it. When I became strongly active on YouTube back in 2013, I did not watch his videos faithfully. However, the thumbnails for his videos were always appearing in my recommended watch list on YouTube, and, therefore, occasionally I watched his videos out of curiosity.
I found some of his videos to be quite interesting, because he was never afraid to delve into controversial topics. There can be no question that he pushed the boundaries in many of his videos insofar as it could only be expected that he would anger people on the YouTube platform. However, I honestly don’t believe that he could have gotten as far as he did if he had chosen to present himself in a solemn, one-dimensional way. Normal people always tend to be viewed as extremely boring on a platform like YouTube where eccentricities on camera often receive more views and more attention than mundane videos about cats.
There is no way to deny that YouTuber Onision was bound to make enemies by posting the kinds of videos that he did throughout the years. I recall that one of his videos showed him burning The Holy Bible and letting it go up in flames. I am not a big fan of religion myself. However, there are certain audacious acts that probably should never be done on camera before an entire digital audience, and burning a Bible or a Quran is one of them. I’m not saying that YouTuber Onision did not have the right to engage in freedom of expression, which is protected by the First Amendment to the United States Constitution, but we all have to realize that there are psycho-Christians out there on the Internet and these are the kind of people who would pose a danger to YouTuber Onision and his family upon seeing his video of a Bible burning. It brings to mind this one preacher in Florida who threatened to burn a Quran several years ago so that he could act on his hostility against Muslims. It just wasn’t a wise thing for him or anyone to do.
I also am not someone who wishes to defend YouTuber Onision in any manner. If he were truly guilty of any crime, I would be completely in favor of him being prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law exactly like anyone else who crossed the line of the law. However, like everyone else, he is entitled to adequate legal representation as a defendant in a court of law in the event that he is actually arrested and has to appear before a judge to fight criminal charges against him. I am of the school of thought that everyone is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, and YouTuber Onision should not be an exception to that rule.
An American online vigilante named Zach Sweers in Michigan goes by the username of Anxiety War on YouTube. I’ve never been a fan of Mr. Sweers, because he doesn’t seem to have a reasonable knowledge of the adolescent subculture to understand fully what his mission to stop online predators entails. He comes across to me as someone who has lived a sheltered life rather than a streetwise individual who genuinely wishes to protect adolescents from harm. Often I find myself suspecting that he only wishes to get his face out there on camera for the whole world to see so that he can capitalize on his fame. Come to think of it, Mr. Sweers does bear an unusually strong resemblance to Jonathan Schmitz, who is also from Michigan like him. Hmm. I wonder if the two could be blood-related.
Mr. Sweers graduated from college back in 2013. Therefore, I have always wondered if he does online sting operations to raise money on YouTube to pay off his student-loan debts. He makes it no secret that he believes that all teenagers are like the ones on television sitcoms on The Disney Channel, which definitely have no resemblance to teenagers in the real world. He certainly appears to be oblivious to the fact that underage adolescents are sexually active and are bound to stray outside their age circles in search of non-Platonic hook-ups. He often talks about high-school girls as though they are still playing with crayons, playing hopscotch and watching Saturday morning cartoons, which is a cause for concern on how suitable he is for the kind of work he does on the Internet.
I have never heard Mr. Sweers really talk about why he chose to become an online vigilante. Therefore, one always has to question what his hidden agenda is. Then again, I have not yet watched his YouTube interview with Mike Morse, Chris Hansen’s current attorney, from beginning to end, and perhaps I might come across something in that interview in which he talks about why he became an online vigilante, after I have had the chance to watch that video in its entirety.
Nevertheless, I still must commend Mr. Sweers for taking a position of neutrality over the mob mentality that has surfaced against YouTuber Onision throughout the Internet. Below is a YouTube video wherein Mr. Sweers speaks about YouTuber Onision and about Chris Hansen’s mission to take him down.
YouTuber Anxiety War Ultimately Decided To Stay Out Of The Mob Mentality Against YouTuber Onision
Since the summer of last year, Chris Hansen has been conducting an investigation into allegations of assault and “grooming” against YouTuber Onision. YouTuber Onision’s current legal name is James Jackson. According to the Wikipedia website, his birth name was Gregory James Daniel. After Mr. Hansen’s fall from grace with the television news industry, he has become more and more active on YouTube. However, many of his recent actions regarding YouTuber Onision have shown precisely how clueless and uneducated he is about the YouTube platform as well as its likes throughout the digital universe; and because this same obstacle has placed him at a severe disadvantage against YouTuber Onision, his mission to send him to prison has caused him to become involved in a mostly uphill battle.
A whole mob of YouTubers whose main objectives appear to be to take down YouTuber Onision and even sabotage his career as a YouTuber are confident that Chris Hansen will succeed in getting YouTuber Onision arrested and sent to prison for a substantial amount of time. Now, I am not one to doubt that YouTuber Onision will likely be arrested for something connected with Mr. Hansen’s investigation. However, I honestly do not believe that any of the allegations against him will stand up in a court of law inasmuch as most everything of which Mr. Hansen and his team have accused YouTuber Onision constitute what is commonly known in the legal profession as gray matter.
If anything substantial comes out of this same investigation, perhaps Mr. Hansen may succeed at getting a court order to force YouTube to remove YouTuber Onision from its platform. However, somehow I do not envision that YouTuber Onision will be wearing an orange jumpsuit that inmates in Washington state correctional facilities normally wear, any time in the near future or at all. I seriously doubt that the Federal authorities will even get anywhere with their supposed investigation into the allegations against him.
If YouTuber Onision is ever arrested for any reason and he realizes that he could be facing an extensive amount of prison time, he will likely hire the best legal representation that money can buy. If he hires a really professional criminal defense attorney like Alan Dershowitz or Geoffrey Fieger, he will definitely be acquitted of all the criminal charges against him. Mike Morse, Chris Hansen’s current attorney, could even tell you how aggressive Mr. Fieger is, because he has had to deal with him directly in the past and he is still dealing with him, the last I heard. One of the videos herein make mention of it. Also, Mr. Dershowitz was one of President Donald J. Trump’s lawyers during the presidential impeachment hearings in Washington, D.C.
The “grooming” accusations against YouTuber Onision will be knocked out immediately, because the definition of “grooming” has been used ambiguously and subjectively against him since the outset of Mr. Hansen’s investigation against him and would, therefore, be poorly grounded in a court of law. If you review the Free Dictionary on the Internet, you will notice that the legal definition of “grooming” that appears therein is as follows: to win the confidence of (a victim) in order to commit a sexual assault on him or her.
YouTuber Repzilla is a part of the anti-Onision movement that has been accusing YouTuber Onision of “grooming,” among other things. In one of his YouTube videos, YouTuber Repzilla claims in the form of a typewritten statement on his computer screen that the definition of “grooming” is “the action by a pedophile of preparing a child for a meeting, especially via an Internet chat room, with the intention of committing a sexual offense.” I don’t know where he got that information; but as you can see, it is extremely inconsistent with the actual definition that appears in the Free Dictionary on the Internet. The specific video of YouTuber Repzilla wherein he flashes that information (or likely misinformation) on his computer screen can be found below.
YouTuber Repzilla Badmouths YouTuber Onision In His Video
Because of the ambiguity of how YouTuber Repzilla and others like him in the anti-Onision movement, including Chris Hansen, have been defining “grooming,” it is my prediction that a criminal defense lawyer will have no difficulty in getting such a charge against YouTuber Onision dismissed in a court of law in the event that Mr. Hansen’s investigation of YouTuber Onision does actually generate a criminal trial. I suspect that YouTuber Repzilla fabricated his definition of “grooming” instead of looking it up in a legal dictionary or even a regular dictionary.
Mr. Hansen has a show on his YouTube channel called “Have A Seat With Chris Hansen” where he does interviews and investigative reporting. In his videos about YouTuber Onision, he often refers to YouTuber Onision as the “YouTube Psycho-brat.” As recent as last January, Mr. Hansen attempted to make face-to-face contact with YouTuber Onision by going directly to his residence and knocking on the front door of it to request an interview with him. Instead of agreeing to open the front door, YouTuber Onision phoned the police and lodged an official complaint against Mr. Hansen. A YouTube video of the telephone call can be found directly below.
YouTuber Onision Reports Chris Hansen To The Police
It doesn’t surprise me that the news about this incident pulled a myriad of laughs from YouTuber Onision’s adversaries on the Internet. Upon viewing the above video with this same telephone call to the 911 operator, I was curious to know whether or not the woman who answered YouTuber Onision’s telephone call initially believed him after he reported that Chris Hansen was stalking him and trespassing on his property. It seemed as though she didn’t. It brings to mind an incident involving the late Dana Plato from so many years ago when that same actress had robbed a video store at gunpoint in Nevada, and the 911 operator did not believe the victim after she reported that she had just been robbed by “by the girl who played Kimberly on Diff'rent Strokes.”
Nevertheless, even though I do not doubt that Mr. Hansen has noble intentions, I strongly feel that he is putting his own future and possibly his life into danger by sailing into uncharted territory in his quest to expose, ruin and criminally convict YouTuber Onision. I must commend YouTuber Onision that he is someone who stands by his close friends, but I also must warn others that he is someone whom you do not want as an enemy that is dead set at getting revenge on you. He fights dirty. Anyone who has ever gotten on his blacklist can tell you so.
Now, I’m not going to make YouTuber Onision out to be a goody two-shoes, because he is far from being one. At the same time, I do not feel that he should be shamed for achieving the kind of financial success he has up to this point in time despite that he is only 34 years old. I’m also not going to agree with Mr. Hansen’s opinion either that YouTuber Onision is some kind of cult leader. If Mr. Hansen wants to go after a real cult leader, he should be pursuing an investigation against someone clearly notorious like David Miscavige of the Church of Scientology instead.
The Church of Scientology has been in existence since before Mr. Hansen was even born. Mr. Hansen was born in 1959, and the Church of Scientology was founded in 1953 under the control of L. Ron Hubbard, who was a deranged maniac that had many people fooled insofar as he was able to entice many people into his cult.
When Mr. Hansen held an interview on his YouTube channel with YouTuber Mr. Atheist and YouTuber Stevie Wolfe, YouTuber Mr. Atheist even told Mr. Hansen that David Miscavige was a dangerous man in that Mr. Miscavige had managed to dance one step ahead of the law for way too long. What I find so outrageous is that the Church of Scientology has a Federal tax exemption status as a religious institution despite that the people in it do not worship any god. However, you never hear about any Federal government agency investigating this cult for criminal activity.
Mr. Hansen could be the first person in the field of journalism to take down the Church of Scientology, if he wanted to do so. He would also have the American people on his side, because most everyone who has ever read a newspaper, watched the news on television or has read a news website on the Internet knows about the kinds of injustices in which this cult has been involved. Unfortunately, Mr. Hansen chooses to waste his time pursuing an investigation against YouTuber Onision that will likely not give him the kind of results that he wants.
Now, has the Church of Scientology ever exploited or abused children? They have done so numerous times in that they have violated the child labor laws throughout our nation. Therefore, Mr. Hansen would not be too far outside his area of expertise if he were to launch an investigation against David Miscavige and that organization.
YouTuber Onision does not even come close to being the kind of person that Mr. Miscavige is. He doesn’t have any religious denomination, even though Mr. Hansen claims that he has some kind of made-up religion. YouTuber Onision is mainly a content creator who has been posting videos on YouTube since 2007. Below is a sample of one of his videos from his older days on YouTube.
YouTuber Onision And His Spouse Reveal What Their Life Is Like
YouTuber Onision posted a series of videos on his channel named OnisionSpeaks regarding Mr. Hansen that were aimed at exposing Mr. Hansen’s dirty laundry to the whole world in the form of accusations against him of writing bad checks, committing adultery, committing tax evasion, defaulting on loans, being evicted from his residences and engaging in consumer fraud, among other things. YouTuber Onision’s adversaries mostly believe that he is not going to gain anything from this mud-slinging tactic of his inasmuch as none of these videos directly relate to the allegations against YouTuber Onision whenever he brings up Mr. Hansen’s name. My take on it is that perhaps it won’t make any prospective criminal charges against YouTuber Onision go away immediately, but I can be sure that a criminal defense lawyer will have a major field day with all this dirt that YouTuber Onision has dug up on Mr. Hansen inasmuch as these statements will cause the judge and a prospective jury to question Mr. Hansen’s overall credibility as a reliable source of information.
Below you can find eight videos that YouTuber Onision posted on his YouTube channel in which he tore into Mr. Hansen’s reputation and attacked his overall credibility. I apologize if any of the videos are out of order by date, but what I had to do was find copies of two such videos that YouTuber Onision had erased from his YouTube channel for reasons that are unknown to me.
YouTuber Onision Puts Chris Hansen’s Dirty Laundry On Public Exhibition
YouTuber Onision may have subsequently posted other videos about Chris Hansen on his YouTube channels. In any event, the eight videos above adequately describe the arguments that YouTuber Onision is making to place Mr. Hansen’s credibility into question on an overall basis.
I feel that YouTuber Onision handled his presentation in all eight of the above YouTube videos quite well. One of his most interesting points is the bizarre fact that Mr. Hansen has chosen to pursue his investigation against him publicly before any arrest has been made, even though professional investigations are normally done in secrecy until after an arrest has been made. It was always Mr. Hansen’s style to keep all his investigations under wraps until after arrests were made. It bewilders me on what makes this investigation of Mr. Hansen’s so different from his previous ones in that respect.
There is one criticism, however, that YouTuber Onision should take into account. In some of the videos, he accused Mr. Hansen of being a creepy, old man simply because he was 60 years old.
YouTuber Onision? If you’re reading my Hive-Blog article here, take my advice. Steer clear of that tactic, because if you have to go to court to answer up to any criminal charges, you may end up with a 75-year-old female judge who might have had a baby boy when she was only 15 years old. In that event, that baby boy of hers would now be 60 years old, and chances are that she may still call him her baby. That is, she won’t want anyone calling her baby an old man. If you were to get such a judge in your criminal trial, your ageist remarks against Mr. Hansen in these videos could come back to haunt you.
YouTuber Onision? If you’re reading my Hive-Blog article here, don’t be rambling on in your videos about how you believe that men between 55 and 60 years of age are old dogs that cannot be taught new tricks as you did when you described the training standards that you claimed to have observed in the military for piloting air-born vehicles. Throughout my life, I’ve met a great number of 55- to 60-year-old men who are tech-savvy. Fifty-five to 60 years old is not even legally a senior citizen yet.
YouTuber Onision? If you’re reading my Hive-Blog article here, I really wish that you had been stationed in Japan rather than South Korea when you were serving in the military. Because the Japanese culture considers someone to be a kid up until they are 52 years of age, I think that such a belief would have molded your mind into believing that people between 55 and 60 years of age were still spring chickens rather than potential candidates for a television advertisement about Colonial Penn Life Insurance. John Stamos, Brad Pitt, and Johnny Depp are all three in that same age bracket, and nobody ever accuses any of them of being old men. John Stamos even has a son who is still a toddler. He is an adorable kid. Does his being a father who is older than 45 years of age mean that his son is not going to grow up to be healthy? Well, that’s another Hive-Blog article for another time. In any event, it certainly doesn’t mean that his son is going to be ugly.
If anyone reading my Hive-Blog article here believes that YouTuber Onision is a pedophile, then you need to get rid of that thought. In one of the above videos, YouTuber Onision refers to most 12-year-old girls as still being pre-pubescent (Tanner Stage 1) while he is describing the online sting operations that Chris Hansen conducted in “To Catch A Predator.” I don’t necessarily agree with him on that point, but the simple fact that he makes that point shows that he has a more Puritanical perspective of puberty and adolescence than what elite mental-health professionals would normally have and, therefore, it is indicative that he is not a pedophile. Moreover, to the best of my knowledge, no mental-health professional has ever formally diagnosed him as a pedophile.
Many of you are questioning how true are any of the statements that YouTuber Onision made in those eight videos above regarding Chris Hansen’s misconduct and confrontation with the law. YouTuber Onision does provide the source of information in those videos and describes how his viewers can find that information on the Internet. I have not viewed and read the sources of information that he described in those videos. However, I have come across enough information from other sources to confirm whether or not his statements are indeed factual.
There is a video that I have embedded in Part G of my Hive-Blog article titled “The Great American Controversy Over Underage Marriage” that provides detailed information regarding Mr. Hansen’s fall from grace with the television news industry. Therein it reports information that confirms some of what YouTuber Onision stated in his eight above videos that are embedded herein.
A YouTuber named Mista GG provided information in a video of his that verified many of the accusations that YouTuber Onision made in those same eight videos. Please note that YouTuber Mista GG posted this same video a while back before Chris Hansen had actually become interested in pursuing a criminal investigation against YouTuber Onision. Here is the video below.
YouTuber Mista GG Exposes The Nasty Truth About Chris Hansen
Now, before anyone jumps to the conclusion that YouTuber Mista GG is a sympathizer of YouTuber Onision, I can assure you that he is not. Moreover, YouTuber Mista GG was a loyal fan of Chris Hansen and his television shows as well as his YouTube programs all the way up until Mr. Hansen had a confrontation with the law. Also, YouTuber Mista GG is someone who has not done anything to hide the fact that he is very skeptical about whether non-exploitative adult/adolescent romantic relationships can and do exist. He has demonstrated in the past that he is someone who believes that the statutory age of consent in whatever jurisdiction of our nation that you live in is something that is written in stone and should not be violated under any circumstances; and if he were to be summonsed as a juror for a statutory-rape case involving an adult/adolescent sexual encounter, it is highly unlikely that he would vote to acquit the defendant under the doctrine of jury nullification. In other words, trying to convince YouTuber Mista GG that non-exploitative adult/adolescent romantic relationships exist would be about as easy as talking Reverend Pat Robertson into believing that there is such a thing as a Christian psychic.
I generally don’t agree with YouTuber Mista GG’s rigid school of thought regarding the statutory-rape laws in our nation and how broadly pedophilia should be defined in his perspective. If I were to face off against YouTuber Mista GG verbally in an online debate about the topic of adult/adolescent romantic relationships, I would stress to him that adult/adolescent romantic relationships are not violating any laws so long as they are formal courtships or intimate relationships within the confines of marriage OR if both partners are above the statutory age of consent, of course. In any event, I do believe that he would have no reason to lie about Mr. Hansen with respect to anything he states about him in his above video.
Ironically, Mr. Hansen offered to interview YouTuber Mista GG on his YouTube channel after YouTuber Mista GG had posted the above video on YouTube, and YouTuber Mista GG agreed to it. What gets me laughing is that YouTuber Mista GG went ahead and posted yet another video on his YouTube channel that exposed more of Mr. Hansen’s dirty laundry to the whole world after Mr. Hansen posted his interview with him on YouTube.
Yet another YouTuber who provides information in his videos that support YouTuber Onision’s above-aforementioned statements against Mr. Hansen is YouTuber Dank Net. In his two YouTube videos below, he not only exposes Mr. Hansen for crimes and transgressions that he has committed, but he also depicts Mr. Hansen to be somewhat of a corrupt individual who gravitates toward other like-minded corrupt individuals. It is very disturbing, but YouTuber Dank Net succeeds in backing up his statements with facts and evidence in his two videos. Here are the two videos below.

3. Sarah Is The Most Vocal Accuser Of YouTuber Onision And His Spouse, Kai
Now, some of you who may have followed the scandal surrounding YouTuber Onision and Chris Hansen’s investigation against him are probably going to ask me what my thoughts are about Sarah inasmuch as she is the one who is voicing her accusations against YouTuber Onision and his spouse, Kai (formerly known as Lainey), the loudest of any of their accusers. In my humble opinion, she is a mixed-up young girl and someone you simply cannot hate regardless of whether or not she is telling the truth about YouTuber Onision and his spouse, Kai.
The first time that I had ever found out about Sarah living with YouTuber Onision and his spouse, Kai, when she was 16 years old was when I stumbled across a YouTube video of YouTuber Onision playing a video game with her so many years ago. I’ve been unable to locate that video on YouTube again. In any event, the worst thing that he did to her in that video was win the video game.
I later learned that she had moved in with YouTuber Onision and his family in the state of Washington to escape her abusive home back in Michigan. She was in her early teens when she first became a follower of YouTuber Onision, and she was 16 years old when she moved in with him and his family. YouTuber Onision always presented himself as someone who placed a great amount of importance on young people getting an education and steering clear of drug abuse. In that respect, I would say that he was a good influence on her.
From my understanding of a video that Sarah posted several years ago on YouTube that I have not been able to locate again, Sarah wanted to further her education in an inexpensive collegiate program that was available in the state of Washington once she was to become a resident of that state. Unfortunately, by the time that she had posted that video, she was being forced into returning to her parents’ home in Michigan inasmuch as a group of strangers on the Internet had made up false rumors about her friendship with YouTuber Onision and his spouse, which caused local government agencies to snoop around in their lives.
This same video of Sarah’s was some kind of live stream that she had done online and had posted on YouTube, and her major complaint was that these Internet strangers had caused her to miss out on an important educational opportunity there in the state of Washington that she would have been eligible for if she had been allowed to stay there. She spent most of the video getting angry with the viewers and telling them that she had no interest in dating YouTuber Onision’s spouse. Overall, she was extremely furious that she had to return to Michigan. However, she never complained that YouTuber Onision or anyone in his household had abused her or manipulated her in any way.
In February of 2017, Sarah did another video with Kai (then known as Lainey) to set the record straight regarding her obligation to return to her parents’ home in Michigan. Sarah emphatically denied that YouTuber Onision and his spouse, Kai, had ever abused her or even groomed her in any manner. Kai backed up Sarah’s statement and her own statements with evidence in the form of chat logs of which they both had kept a record. Here is that same video below.

Back in the summer of 2017, YouTuber Joy Sparkle BS interviewed Sarah on YouTube afterwards. Throughout most of the interview, Sarah appeared not to want YouTuber Joy Sparkle BS to make any derogatory statements against YouTuber Onision or his spouse, Kai (then known as Lainey). Here is that YouTube video below.
YouTuber Joy Sparkle BS Interviews Sarah Regarding YouTuber Onision
My guess is about as good as yours on why Sarah eventually turned against YouTuber Onision and his spouse in such a drastic manner. If she came from an abusive household in Michigan as she and others have stated repeatedly, I cannot be angry with her for going off the deep end as she obviously did so.
YouTuber Onision insists that he can prove that Sarah has been lying about her recent allegations against him and his spouse, Kai. He certainly has the right to speak in his defense. You decide for yourself if Sarah has been lying all along, after you watch YouTuber Onision’s video below.
YouTuber Onision Discredits Sarah In His Video
I don’t want to seem insensitive, but I honestly don’t believe that Sarah’s recent accusations against YouTuber Onision and his spouse, Kai, are going to hold up in a court of law if YouTuber Onision and his spouse, Kai, are even arrested for those same accusations. It will be her word against theirs.
I will not comment about anything that went on between Sarah and YouTuber Onision or between Sarah and Kai after Sarah turned eighteen, because no law was broken in that regard. YouTubers who are in the anti-Onision movement will have their opinions about it, but I believe that it is a waste of time even to elaborate on it inasmuch as nothing legal can be done about it.
4. Nobody Has Any Conclusive Evidence Against YouTuber Onision
I’m not here to determine whether or not YouTuber Onision is a nice person or an abuser. My objective in this Hive-Blog article here of mine is to determine whether or not he will actually serve time behind bars, and so far I have not come across anything that will indicate that he is eventually going to confront such a fate.
I can understand the stress and strain that YouTuber Onision has to be going through in view of all the hostility that other YouTubers have directed his way since the outset of Chris Hansen’s investigation against him. Even before Mr. Hansen appeared on the scene regarding YouTuber Onision’s current situation, YouTuber Onision was still putting out fires from previous ordeals of his.
The only YouTuber I know of who has given YouTuber Onision a fair opportunity to provide his side of the story is YouTuber Keemstar. Below is a video showing a clip of the interview between YouTuber Keemstar and YouTuber Onision.
YouTuber Keemstar’s Interview With YouTuber Onision
In that same interview, YouTuber Onision complained to YouTuber Keemstar that no matter what he did or said, people on the Internet would use his words against him. He was quite emphatic that he felt that he was being scrutinized and judged by a kangaroo court. YouTuber Keemstar succeeded in getting YouTuber Onision to open up with him more than he would have done so with anyone else who had interviewed him. The entire interview was done in a calm manner.
5. My Conclusion To This Topic
While Chris Hansen’s investigation of YouTuber Onision may not be completely unwarranted, it is still an uphill battle for him. Most of the allegations against YouTuber Onision that he is investigating are not supported by concrete evidence that would hold up in a court of law, and they would be presented as gray matter at best. Mr. Hansen’s future as a journalist rides on this same investigation if he is to pursue it right to the very end. However, the outcome of it that will likely not be the one that he wants could also have consequences for both his future and his personal safety.
Although I do not believe that YouTuber Onision would ever engage in any kind of violence against Mr. Hansen, he does have access to many resources in which he could start a vicious rumor on the Internet about Mr. Hansen that could place his life into danger. It is not to say that YouTuber Onision would go down that same road, but his fear of going to prison could cause him to become desperate enough to resort to such drastic measures.
If YouTuber Onision walks the white line from this point on, he can be rest assured that he will never face any prison time. At the same time, I feel that Mr. Hansen’s journalistic talents would be better served if he were to pursue a criminal investigation against David Miscavige and the Church of Scientology instead of YouTuber Onision. If he were to do so, it might even make him marketable again to the television news industry. In that event, NBC might not necessarily reinstate him, but perhaps there would be other television networks that would become interested in employing him in a journalistic capacity at a generous salary.
None of you have to like YouTuber Onision. I myself don’t particularly have much use for Billy Bush, and I can’t understand why anyone in the television entertainment industry would want to hire him. I would have been contented if Billy Bush never showed his face on television ever again. Anyhow, like all of us, YouTuber Onision remains innocent of any accusations against him until and unless he is proven to be guilty of them in a court of law. Also, everyone is entitled to adequate legal representation as a defendant in a criminal proceeding, including YouTuber Onision.
