I felt the plot and characters were a succession of (Gundam) tropes squeezed together. I could not buy the drama. Focus of the series is edgy teen and his predestined mysteriously over-powered fighting machine. The animation is technically excellent, but I thought the visual directing was absolutely horrid.
Premise: A mysterious organization deploys super-powered battle machines to battle all the armies of the world into peace. (Alternate Gundam timeline.)
