Hello everyone! Welcome to my very first blog post đ I wanted to make sure to set the groundwork for the goal of this blog. In this post, Iâll list and define the five words that encompass Her Blooming Mind and express the value I hope to bring through my own life experiences.
Overall purpose:
To connect with others who are committed to making the world a better place.
What five foundational words define the culture of HBM?
- Value: Thoughts or ideas shared that invoke transformation for a person(s) benefit.
- Community: An environment where an exchange of ideas is encouraged to be shared by two or more people that promotes a positive culture shift and invites stable and connected relationships.
- Creativity: Utilizing imaginative and original ideas to problem solve and inspire.
- Honesty: The act of being transparent and sincere about oneself and oneâs own life experiences.
- Growth: The ability and willingness to identify a weak area in oneâs own personal life and seek opportunities to strengthen it.
How & why do these five foundational words represent HBM?
These five foundational words for HBM are essential because they all invoke change. Whatever you regard as important is whatever you will work hard for. You and I share this planet with billions of other people â you cannot avoid or hide from others. Otherwise, you put your own self inside of a hole. And, you need not to be in one until your body no longer has breath. This world would suffer without our dear creatives! If youâre saying to yourself, âIâm not really a painter or I donât know how to play a guitar or writing prompts give me AP LIT flashbacksâ â donât worry! If you like to solve problems and can make that enjoyable for yourself by inspiring others â then, CONGRATS! Youâre a creative! We need people like you. The world needs you. Honesty or lack there of is what sabotages or supports any relationship you will have in this life. If you canât be honest with where you are in life to yourself, how could anyone expect or demand of you the actual truth? Can you handle the truth about yourself? Growth is what you need to survive. Itâs what is SO natural on this planet to do. Hereâs something to think about: a seed cannot refuse to grow because it is already programmed in its DNA to become a tree, with or without its permission. You, like the seed, are programmed for success, but here is the difference, you can choose your environment, you can refuse, and you can go against the opportunity to succeed. In each of us, there is a leader. It doesnât matter if youâre a follower now. What matters is that you recognize yourself as a leader, starting NOW. Seeing who you can become in the future helps you grow in the present.
Where does HBM derive from?
In May 2021, this brand was just unfolding and my I changed my IG username to @thebloomingbillionaire. At first glance, the word âbillionaireâ is automatically associated with significant financial status, insurmountable net worth, unattainable wealth, etc. One of the first things I wrote was that my plan was to birth a billion ideas to touch billions of people hence âbillionaireâ. In my mind, the amount of people that you reach by using your gifts (teaching, encouraging others, music, graphic design, etc.) gives you your net worth. It doesnât just relate to the numerical, it matters most in the how you impact those people. This is how your work outlives you â by doing the necessary, hard, uncomfortable inner work and sharing with others the how of growing, the how of changing, the worth of the how.
âBloomingâ came naturally as I could tell something was changing within me. Also, I kept seeing the word âbloomâ at the most random places and times. Also, my birth name is a literally a garden. Everything is perfectly connected with the theme of growing and planting. The â-ingâ ending reminds me to be present in this action - itâs timeless. Blooming is my self-commitment and I look forward to growing along with you in this community.
My âwhyâ in life and HBMâs value:
It was only in late 2021, that I defined my lifeâs mission statement: to become a person of value who lives to serve and give generously. Before that, I just thought my own life would be designed by ideas I had. Ideas without a real reason or purpose for them being there. Sure, I wanted to finally move out of my parentsâ house. Money had declined as a motivator for me some years ago. What was I actually looking to get out of life? More importantly, how was my inner change process going to help others? When I realized that the greatest thing a leader could do was serve, thatâs when my mindset shifted. With HBM, I hope to add value in your daily reading by leaving you with something to perseverate on and apply.
Now, enough about me.
Drop a comment below. Iâd like to know three things about you: name, location, & a project youâre most proud of (if you have a link to it, include it) :)
Iâll see you in the next post. Stay well.
