I've learnt an important lesson from Simon Sinek about trust: that trust is born only among people who share a common set of values and beliefs. Think about it. If a random stranger on the street invited you to join Steemit, would you have joined? But if your friend/family invited you to join, you will actually think twice about their invitation.
My friends, business is exactly the same.
If you want to attract the right clients to benefit from your product, first you need to identify the right set of values and beliefs that your clients have. Once you've proven to them that you're in the pack, your clients will be more comfortable in trusting you and giving you a shot in business! Same applies to your business partners: If you want to partner up with reliable entrepreneurs, you need to prove that you're reliable in the first place!!
