Frogs and Toads - A good indicator of a healthy environment.
When I was growing up in the 1970s and 1980s frogs and toads were found in suburban gardens.
Now one hardly finds one in built up areas. As their breeding grounds became drained or polluted- they have died off, becoming local extinct.
So next time you see a frog - be happy
