I don't think Ethereum investors had sending food to Africa in mind ;) that's steems job lol But STEEM does it in a for profit financially sustainable way that works on incentives of PROFIT for SELF INTEREST, allowing any human to learn to create Value and trade that work for money, not hand outs!

Altruism will destroy a project. If you want to help people, it must help yourself and you mnust give people jobs to create value not just welfare and free stuff to become dependent. We need to let people make money online and leveragetheir own ability to earn money with a steemit Blog. Anyone can do it, there is enough room for everyone, and enough money for billions to work and survive. Steem and EOS are the way forward.
