Concerns about EOS?!

Hey everyone,

I was wondering why there are concerns about Hive account@eosio, their ICO and why people call Hive account@dantheman and his idea a scam!
I read it a few times now and I can't figure out, what makes people think that.

Is it because Hive account@eosio is collecting Ether big-time during the ICO and could build up a comfortable position, once Ethereum changes to proof-of-stake?

Or is it because it's sort of unclear whether the EOS Tokens are of any worth on the new blockchain, once the ICO ended?

I mean I do understand, why people are careful, but calling it a scam sounds a bit harsh, doesn't it?
