Kraken is updating his system and has been down for 12h (still down) At their site (kraken.com) they inform:
*** MAINTENANCE ANNOUNCEMENT ***
Kraken is presently offline for maintenance.
While maintenance is underway, the website and API will not be available, and orders will not be accepted or canceled.

Since i used KRAKEN to buy my EOS and as you know is one of my main HODL'ing positions i was a bit worried so i checked it with EOS today at market, yesterday the graph was very exciting and today it continues giving good data .
Look what a beautiful graphic in BINANCE on the way to its historical peak.
However in KRAKEN exchange while a full update thats what is happening:
I tell you as fisherman, because when KRAKEN opens the ban it will be a great opportunity to get on the EOS train !! I already have the cane ready :)
Obviously you need a valid account in Kraken.
I think that many traders are not going to be in time to cancel their sales orders and it's going to be like fishing in a puddle!
