Let's say you have 1000 EOS on the 1st of June purchased at 5usd each. The price is $100 per token(ambitious I know, but this is crypto!) and the returns look great. The list of dApps is increasing and all are offering airdrops to EOS holders.
Assume that 5 of those airdrops are 1:1 which means you effectively own 6k total tokens (1k of each including EOS). Now let's hope that the aidropped token prices go up to average 10usd each. Suddenly the portfolio is worth (150k usd) all from the original investment of 5k usd.
As EOS continues with it's stunning success, it attracts more dApps, and even more airdrops of even better projects that perform as well as the underlying blockchain.
By the time EOS hits 1k usd later this year, some of the good dApps will be inching upwards too. Your original 5k usd investment will be growing in as many dimensions as dApps' tokens held.
Now, who will be selling their EOS on the 1st of June? I know I won't be.
