In a recent debate with a telegram user named Old Man, Block.One CEO, Brendan Blumer revealed some interesting stuff about social media platform his company is building. His company recently announced that it is making a social media platform named voice.
The platform will be built on EOS or using EOS.IO software. Some of the stuff he revealed talks about how it will be marketed. Brendan said they have a 100s of millions of dollars for marketing Voice:
"Social media is controlled by influencers and they will make serious sums by joining voice... we have an ad budget in the hundreds of millions, and structured plan to onbord influencers.. and that’s outside of the Value emitted in tokens..."
He also stated that the June 1 announcement of Voice was to onboard the EOS community to the platform.
June 1 wasn't the time to communicate to the masses, it was the beginning of onbsoridng (I assume he meant onboarding) our own community which understand the power of tokenisation.
