Hello Everyone
The last few days were crazy for me, and i am not sure if i am the only one around here or there is others like me.
first i learned about something called steemit for the first time, and it sounded very interesting to me,
so i signed up, and i found very useful information in members stories.
now i learned that i actually can make money out of it, (Still not sure if it's true, and i am learning more about the how)
last two days i have been dragged to something else by an article talking about something called EOS, and the article was speaking about it, like it's kinda familiar to other people and they should know what it is. which was frustrating to me because i had no clue,
so i visited the "https://eos.io" and it was another mistery to my ignorant mind, but i kinda understood that it's about a new cryptocurrency called EOS Token ( I don't know if this conclusion is correct).
now it's kinda in the pre-lunch period, and it's being distributed against ethereum with fare share of the amount that will be distributed equaly on the sum of the ehtereum that was paid like this:
At the end of the 5 day period and at the end of each 23 hour period referred to above, a set number of EOS Tokens will be distributed pro rata amongst all authorized purchasers, based on the total ETH contributed during those periods, respectively, as follows:
a = Total ETH contributed by an authorized purchaser during the period.b = Total number of EOS Tokens available for distribution in the period.c = Total ETH contributed by all authorized purchasers during the period.
Now somehow i came out with two possible theories:
1- EOS is a new cryptocurrency
2- EOS is kinda Steemit 2.0.
but whatever is EOS is, i think it's something going to be huge and i really want to be part of it somehow, and i feel like the opportunity is passing me by in front of my eyes and can do nothing about it.
Now a Question to Experts who might read this:
1- What is EOS exactly? (In Simple english)
2- Will average person, who is not a programmer be able to involve in it.
3- How big is it expected to hit?
Thank you all, and please share it if you can't answer, the answer might be interesting to you too.
