So far we are in the 11th week of the Premier league and the status quo has begun. The expectation is clear to see the teams comprised in the top four.
Chelsea had a great week scoring goals with Giroud.
I was hoping to see other players scoring more but Giroud is the man right now.
Can you believe the last World Cup France won, Giroud did not score a single goal. I guess his presence is important somehow.
If you recall the beginning of the season, Manchester United was not up to par. Thing has changed. They accumulated 6 wins and four in a row. Now I see why Sheffield cannot win a match yet.
Worry I was in the beginning for them. Quick they reverse the trend and they are within range of competing for the ultimate prize.
I can say the same for Liverpool and Tottenham. These teams are elite for a reason. They are well coached and great players all around. They spent purposely to be on top.
Leicester needs a win fast to stay relevant. Losing to Fulham is one thing. Will they give Sheffield 3 points ?
Arsenal is another elite team languishing on the bottom 10.
Playing Europa League and EPL could be expansive. I know they have the gut to pull it even at the last minute.
Happy for Chelsea for holding on to first place even for 24 hours. The competition is intense lately since we can see now the arrival of fans. Not too many but enough to make some noise.
Chelsea has 6 more matches for 2020. Tight schedule and they'd better rack up Ws to finish the year strong.
