Why so biased?
“Feminism” (showing preference towards females)
“Gay rights” (showing preference towards non-cia people)
“Trans rights” (showing preference towards trans)
Why don’t these groups call themselves equalists if they actually support equality?
I have no problem with equality. In fact I support giving everyone the same freedoms/rights.
Women and gays and trans people all deserve the same right to life and liberty as any other person.
I’m just curious why proponents of these various movements don’t call themselves “equalists” so they don’t push away people who don’t fall into their small cliques?
They often say they support equality for all, yet many times they only support freedoms for one group of people, or at least only advance laws that benefit one group of humans.
In fact, the term “equalist” isn’t even in the computer dictionary. I, long ago, had to add it to my computer’s library so it doesn’t try to change the word to something else.
I feel like one of the few actual equalists in the world.
I think most people who side with some of these groups have actually been brainwashed into anti-equality to compensate past transgressions. I don’t see much actual equality from these movements and I think these movements utilize the emotions of their supporters to advance causes that go above and beyond actual equality.
Eg Hate crimes (you don’t need hate crimes) if someone murders because of gay hate or because of wanting to steal something, we already see the person as bad and remove them from society.
Whether someone is beat up because the bully picks on small/weak people, or because the bully hates gay people, the act of assault is already against the law and punishable and wrong. Adding on additional crimes for motives doesn’t really change anything nor improve equality.
I’m sick of everyone acting like only certain groups of people are important or deserve rights, or that equality comes from focusing on certain groups of humans.
I’m ready for an actual movement that supports a message of equality for all, not just special interests and subgroups.
Focusing on actual equality instead of subgroups would also eliminate most extremist bickering and cross talking as well that are found hidden under such camps that poison the actual equality well.
I feel like voluntaryism is that actual equality movement, and that all of these sub movements are distractions away from actual equality under the rule of law.
