Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim has just announced that there is a coup attempt now against the Turkish government.
The country is effectively under martial law with the Turkish army supposedly disarming Turkish police. Istanbul is reportedly on lockdown with a curfew in effect with the bridges inaccessible and tanks in the streets. Helicopters and fighter jets are in the sky in Ankara. President Erdogan is not in Ankara. Some are claiming this is the work of loyalists of Muhammed Fethullah Gülen.
These groups trying to overtake the Turkey government are groups from the Muslims brotherhood, backed financially and heavily equipped by the Iranian regime! ( close source)
