Just another ordinary weekend in the height of summer and we decided to take our Vespa for a spin to Costa Smeralda or the Emerald Coast of Sardinia as it is known outside the Island boundaries..
Probably one of the most visited spots in this area is the Costa Smeralda Welcome Rock…
I can’t say I went to this part of the world very often even though it was just about a 4 hour drive from where I lived, I do believe it has been twice in 25 years…
Of course I wanted a photo of the Welcome Rock, and this is what I got!!!!!!
Trust me to pick the best time in 25 years to visit to find the Rock and been vandalised,
It was funny though and they were not at all wrong either!!! Way over priced!!!!
