Elder Scrolls Online typically has a special Halloween event and even though the spooky day is over, The Witches Festival is still going strong. The event has ended on Monday November 11th at 3pm GMT. So there is plenty of time to make use of the XP boost, grab collectibles and more. There are also things to sell for extra Elder Scrolls Online gold or ESO crowns.
For this event, you need to complete a quest called The Witchmother's Bargin to gain the Witchmother's Whistle which gives you and your party a two-hour 100% XP bonus which will stack with other bonuses. While this is great for people looking to level up quickly, anyone looking to earn some ESO gold or crowns is in for a treat.
• Collect Plunder Skulls
They can be earned by defeating bosses, Dark Fissures and Dolmens. The Plunder Skulls contain up to 5 Witches Festival provisions and 1 – 3 samples of Amber Marble which is exclusive to the event. This stuff can be used to make unique recipes, unlock rare items and even creat hats! All of which can be sold to other players for their Elder Scrolls Online gold or even a few ESO crowns depending on the rarity.
• Dremora Plunder Skulls
If you missed them last year, these special Skulls can only be obtained from certain bosses. They will contain a chapter from the Dremora Book to give players some secrets of the Dremora Crafting Motif. They bind on pickup so you cannot sell or trade them to another player but you should still be able to sell the ESO items you can make using the chapters. In the 2019 festival, they also contain Glenmoril Wyrd Style pages for armor and weapons also however, they can be traded or sold.
• Recipes
There are three new legendary recipes with the 2019 festival however, they do have a low drop rate which does make them somewhat valuable. You can trade and sell the recipes as well as the dish and drinks they make.
• Collectibles
There are some creepy and spooky collectibles in the game thanks to the new event which can be collected and resold including the Skeleton Marionette and special Witches Festival themed masks. While these items may not sell for much during the event, their prices are sure to rise over the coming weeks.
Event Tickets
The first time a boss drops a Dremorta Plunder Skull each day, it will also drop two Event Tickets which you definitely need to grab. This event gives you the first chance to collect the berries needed to evolve the Nascent Indrik into the Pure-Snow Indrik mount. The berries can be purchased from the Impresario (bind on pick-up and non-tradable). Buying them with Event Tickets earned in game also gives you bonus entries into the Season of the Dragon sweepstakes which has several different prizes. There are 241 prizes up for grabs, one of which is the Grand Prize while others may receive Crown Store items and more.
