2 Corinthians 13:11 "Finally, brethren, have joy, be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, and live in peace, and the God of peace and love will be with you"
The Christian life is like a melody where each instrument of our walk has to be tuned to be able to sing a beautiful song, that song that comes as a fragrant smell before the presence of God.
Likewise, we as Christians and instruments of God, all of us, must keep the compass and the times in the melody that God longs for us to play. Yes, because God, like a musical director, longs for each of his instruments to be tuned in the best way and to know how to carry the times of the melody that He longs to hear.
And that is when we decide whether to allow ourselves to be tuned by the Lord or to remain out of tune. An instrument is out of tune, when it is not producing the perfect sound that its executor expects. God as Executor of us as his instruments, longs to get the best possible melody out of us, longs for each of us to be in tune and for the best possible song to come out of our lives that their ears can hear.
Unfortunately many of us do not allow ourselves to be tuned by the Lord, we like to sound out of tune and thereby ruin the beautiful song that God wants to sing in our lives.
Sin is the biggest culprit of the detunement, because sin is not compatible with the holiness of God, it is there when we live tied to sin, where the melody of our life is not being the expected.
And there are strings of our lives that need to be changed to get a better sound, I know it is hard to receive a tuning, more when God begins to tighten and tighten the strings, but you need to tighten them to fine tune and get an excellent sound .
Each one of us are beautiful instruments in the hands of the Lord, each one of us has a different sound but when we are together we sing a beautiful song.
God longs for the melody of our life to be perfect and therefore motivates us at every moment to let us tune, the tuning comes from a life of Daily Devotion, a life of continuous prayer, a life of service and more than all the burning desire of Do your will at all costs.
