For the Japanese, Ise Jingu Shrine is a very sacred place. Since 2000, many people have come to visit Ise Jingu Shrine. The pilgrimage procedure at Ise Jingu Temple first enters the Geku (Temple of Outer), then Naiku (In the Temple). The official name of this Geku is "Toyoke daijingu". This place is dedicated to gods of clothes, food, and boards. To get to Geku, you can walk for 10 minutes from JR and Kintetsu Station Ise-shi. The time it takes to visit in Geku is about 30 minutes.
On the way to the main temple there is forest. Here we can touch the giant trees and feel the signs of the towering tree growth.
