Grasshoppers live in the tropics to the sub-tropics. Most are green, but some are brown and yellow. Grasshoppers are also known by the names of grasshoppers, congcorang, walang kekek, walang kadung, and jadadak. There are many species of locust grasshoppers. The species that most live in Indonesia is Hierodula vitrea.
Adult female locusts can lay eggs of up to 300 eggs. The eggs are placed in a nest called ooteka. Ooteka is a nest made of material removed from its parent body. Ooteka that initially shaped white foam that will harden and form small spaces in it. The grasshopper's eggs are protected from the heat and rain on the ooteka until hatching.
