I have dreams, I have goals, I have aspirations ;am filled with the desire to be successful and live a successful life.
Life comes in stages, each stage makes us appreciate the previous, and allows us enjoy the present with lots of energy as we anticipate the future.
Success is not a one day thing, you grow in it, your experiences and skills acquired from the past moulds you into the successful man you ought to be. No wonder riches, fame and success gotten overnight without a good foundation crumbles and lives the individual frustrated.
THIS IS MY STORY.
I've gotten a breakthrough in my career as a DJ, it's not a major hit but I choose not to forget my humble beginnings.
Mees palace and events center in Jos,plateau state, Nigeria ;organized a DJs battle.Its an event were Djs come to showcase their skills and get rewarded.3rd position was to go home with 100,000 thousand Naira,2nd position 150,000 thousand Naira,and the overall winner was to go home with 250,000 thousand Naira.
The event was spectacular, DJ Lambo (Chocolate city C. E. O. ) was the head of judges. It was graced by well renowned DJ's in and around the State,too numerous to mention.
The audition was tough and stressful, we were 30 to participate in it. After the whole screening and other stuff, 14 of us were eligible to participate in the contest.
The beauty of the event for me apart from the cash, is playing alongside other talented DJ's on the same stage. I was out to have mad fun, and give out my best.
At the end I emerged 4th, though I didn't come back home with any cash reward, I feel honoured knowing my skills has distinguished me and brought me this far.
It's a good start for me when it comes to DJ battles, there is still more out there to accomplish and more heights to attain; for to whom much is given, much is expected.
Watch out for me, the shell is about to crack....
