Month of November every year is celebrated as the month of abolition of violence, including violence against women which has recently become more widespread. In the social sciences the term violent is used to describe offensive or deffensive behavior accompanied by the use of force to others, whether it is overt or covert. Especially about Domestic Violence (Domestic Violence) can be divided into four types, namely: First, open violence, namely violence that is visible or can be seen with the eyes of the head, like husband beat wife. Second, closed or hidden violence, ie, invisible violence, but directly affecting the victim, such as various forms of threat, intimidation, stigma, prejudice.
Three, aggressive violence, violence done to get something that satisfies the desire, such as the cultivation for the victim to obey his wish. Fourth, defensive violence, violence committed as an excessive measure of self-protection, such as lowering the wife in front of others in order to raise his self-esteem.
