We started the year of 2019 relaxing, after a few intense days of sightseeing Athens.
Reaching this decision was helped by the fact that the weather isn't good and indoor attractions like museums are closed today.
But I'll continue this travel blog series with images from Syntagma Square, which I mentioned in yesterday's post too.
On one end of the square, you can see the Greek Parliament.
If you're lucky as we were in the first evening, you'll catch the change of guard.
If you're more patient than we've been, you can watch the entire thing. I've read it takes around 20 minutes.
In the middle of the square are the Christmas ornaments.
At the other end, a radio was broadcasting live at the time.
