It has been a while since I last shared the results of a Pokemon Go Community Day Event but since it was an interesting one this past weekend, I thought it would be a good moment to share what walking around the park for two hours was able to achieve for me. It seemed somewhat more rare to encounter a shiny form of Ralts this time around as it took about 45 minutes to get my very first one.
My goal was to get one for each type of evolvement so I was trying to get at least four. However, it was a little more difficult to control as Ralts has different evolution paths depending on the gender of the Ralts caught. Although both gender evolve from Ralts to Kirlia, they then evolve into either Gallade for males and Gardevoir for the traditional females that were first released in Pokemon Go.
I basically gave up on achieving this given that the Shinies that I was finding were all male. It seemed to be part of the design as most of the community there at the park was also running into similar issues as well. Therefore, I headed home but decided to check on the Ralts I would see on the way while waiting for traffic lights and stop signs. In the luckiest find of the day, I found a female shiny Ralts about 5 minutes before getting home! So, I was happy to achieve the whole family of evolutions!
Seeing so many community members around the park was pretty fun as it has been a while since I saw some of old friends that I used to raid with. One thing I noticed is how passionate about some players have been really excited about the competitive aspect of PvP battles! I had some lunch with a couple of members and since I have been playing since the beginning, I had a number of Pokemon that are considered great for battles considering their legacy move sets. I was able to leverage their demand for a Shiny Kyogre which was a great addition to the Collection!
Thanks!
