Did you know that malunggay or moringa is one of the healthiest plants around? In fact it is considered as one of the superfoods according to
recent research studies.
Lucky for us here in the Philippines because these plants are very common and grow easily in tropical climate. Growing up, we had a huge malunggay tree next to our house and my sister has 5 of them around her backyard now.
According to some studies conducted by Philippine Council for Health Research and Development, the plant is packed with nutrients and has numerous medicinal benefits.
The most common way to cook malunggay leaves is to simply add them to a soup dish or any dish that you fancy cooking for that matter. Personally, I love them in my chicken tinola. Mmmm... Yummm!
