Well, I don't have a backyard in my house, then I have to improvise with the little materials I have to grow some useful plants.
This is a photo of one of the windows of the house where I live. It has several species there 😊 Some are useful to make tea with their leaves in order to help me with headaches, stomach pains, or just to relax a bit before a long day full of work. But also, I decided to breed some big trees from scratch.
Here are the seeds of a fruit tree called "Mamón" in my homeland, the fruit's taste is a bit sour, but it has tremendous concentrations of iron and phosphorus.
Mamon's fruit looks just lovely
Also, there are some seeds of Mandarin oranges that germinated handsomely. I need to move them ASAP to individual pots since they all are clustered on just one pot.
My favorite ones without a doubt are these little friends, they are soursop little bushes, someday they will grow to become great trees and I'm pinpointing just the right spot to plant them. It will be in a rather accessible but not too transited spot. In some years I want to walk my footsteps back and enjoy the fruits and the shadow of these little friends.
In this shot there is another friend, from left to the right, the second one is a "plum rose or water apple".
I want to try to grow a coconut palm, this one is really tricky since you have to simulate the conditions the palm has next to the beach (you have to add salt to the plant nearby soil so it grows as if it were at the beach shore). I want to try it and tell my friend if it's possible for him to grow one in Texas. I'll experiment myself first ☺️
From this experience, I can understand what a long time commitment means. Just the right mindset with need with our cryptos.
Thank you for visiting my post, all images were taken with my phone.
Best regards.
