Isha Foundation, established by Sadhguru, is a nonprofit and international organization run by volunteers. The Isha Foundation, devoted to the task of managing human power, is aimed at revitalization of world society by bringing about a change in human society. The Rural Rejuvenation Mission is a program to be implemented in a wide range of areas with a multi-purpose objective to revitalize the villages of India. The main objective is to improve the health and living conditions of the rural population. This project was launched by Sadhguru in August 2003. It was initiated for the benefit of 70 crore rural people in 54,000 villages in Tamil Nadu, South India. It will be implemented in 2 stages in 15 years. After that, it is expected that those communities will accept it.
Isha Vidhya, Isha's education program, raises the quality of education in the rural areas and ensures that the rural children in the backward are able to express their full potential. The objective of the project is to achieve equitable opportunities for rural children and equivalent to urban children by achieving quality education.
The Isha Foundation's environmental initiative, the** Greens Program,** was designed to halt environmental pollution and improve the environment for life. With the support of the people, Tamil Nadu has been developing 11.4 crore saplings and aims to increase the state's green area by 10%
On October 17, 2006, the tree planting scheme was implemented in large scale. On the same day, 2,56,289 volunteers and 8,32,587 saplings were planted in 6,284 places in the 27 districts of the state and made a Guinness record.
