This is my entry for #thaiphotocontest47 on people B&W photography.
I met this ice-cream vendor two weeks ago! I was on my way back from walking around ICONSIAM. She was selling coconut ice- cream at a very cheap price and she was very generous with the quantity! The cup was bigger than other vendors and she would give me more ice-cream if I did nit want to have any toppings! I should have chosen my ice-cream in the actual coconut as it only cost a bit more with more coconut meat and ice-cream. I promised myself to go back there to treat myself to the biggest size ice-cream on offer!
Why?! Oh! After I tasted her coconut ice-cream I almost got angry with myself. It was so good! No artificial sweetener and no artificial creamy stuff! Just natural coconut juice with very little coconut cream! Absolutely perfect for a hot evening. You could find her at the evening market by the Robinson mall in Bangrak area. Don’t miss this on the way from Sathorn Pier. By the way, she was a very nice, gentle and polite lady with very positive attitude. I asked her why she would give extra ice-cream to customers which really reduced her profit. She told me that she was happy to see her customers happy and getting less profits was okay.
เราไปเจอคนขายไอศกรีมมะพร้าวที่อร่อยที่สุด ที่ตลาดข้างห้างโรบินสันที่บางรัก เรากลับมาจากไปเดินเล่นที่ไอคอนสยาม อากาศค่อนข้างร้อน และเราหิวน้ำมาก ก็ลองซื้อไอศกรีมกินดู ตอนแรกคิดว่าคงไม่อร่อยเพราะเขาใส่ถ้วยใหญ่มากและขายในราคาถูกกว่าคนอื่น พอกินเข้าไปก็นึกโกรธตนเอง เราน่าจะซื้อแบบที่เขาใส่ในมะพร้าวครึ่งซีก เพราะได้กินเนื้อมะพร้าวอ่อนด้วย เราไม่เคยกินไอศกรีมมะพร้าวอ่อนที่อร่อยมากๆอย่างนี้มาก่อน เขาไม่ได้ใส่สารเคมีเพิ่มความหวานไม่มีนํ้าตาลทรายขาว และใส่กระทิน้อยมาก กินแล้วมีความสุขมาก เราจึงสัญญากับตนเองว่า เราจะกลับไปซื้อไอศกรีมถ้วยใหญ่ที่สุดของเขากินในเร็วๆนี้ แม่ค้าคนนี้ใจดีมาก ชอบแถมให้ลูกค้า เราก็ถามว่าไม่กลัวว่ากำไรจะน้อยลงหรือ เขาก็บอกว่าดีใจที่เห็นลูกค้ามีความสุข ได้กำไรนิดหน่อยก็พอใจแล้ว เธออารมณ์ดีมากและรื่นเริงตลอด อย่าลืมแสะไปอุดหนุนเธอ เวลากลับมาจากเที่ยวไอคอนสยามด้วย
